If you just want an overnight stay for a stopover in that area, it serve the purpose. Nothing great. The staff at the breakfast was very nice. She goes round serving the plate of food before putting it on the buffet table.

Place close to public transport in Iya Valley ”
When I booked a place in Iya Valley, I did not want to take taxi or some extra bus to go to mu hotel. After searching, I found AwaNoSho was only place in my price range that was close to a train station (Minawa). The rooms are great, as they are large rooms. Japanese style with a mattress on the floot, and futton covered floors. There's a toilet and a sink, but no shower or bathtub. To take a bath, you need to go to the Onsen, and shower in the public bath (men and women separated). The Onsen is quite basic though with only one bath at 40C, and no sauna. The included breakfast has a wide variety of choice, is self-service, and I assume should satisfy most people.

Room is big and clean, dinner and breakfast are out of expectations. Pizza and pastry are freshly baked from oven. Staff are good and helpful, although the hotel seems to build 10 years ago. Nice view and location to nearby scenery is convenient.

Dinner is ok, breakfast is not that good. Onsen is clean and nice. But the bathroom in our room is flooded after I took a shower, water is not drain and back up on the bathroom floor, call the front desk and was told they can not do anything and just give us more towel for the floor.

夕飯は懐石ですが、温冷を守り、味付けもよく、高齢者にも食べやすかった。 朝食は後から手作り豆腐とフレンチトーストが出てきて、美味しかった。 お風呂は源泉でツルツルになります。マッサージチェアで寛ぎ、癒されました。

不錯的酒店，預訂有私人浴室的客房是供坐輪椅人士用的房間。但沒問題，房間很大，早餐和晚餐味道不錯，溫泉也很好，離大步危觀光客船大約25分鐘車程，強調建議多付高速公路費也不要經國道39號。
