Really worth it”
I stayed for transit purpose and it was the one of best decision I made. Staff are kind and ready to support you. Rooms are clean and quiet. The breakfast buffet and Spanish restuarant foods were really delicious. I will definitely stay here again.

Exceptional”
For those travelling specially at the wee hours of the morning, this is the place to stay,it has shuttle to bring guest to the airport & the airport is very near the hotel. The staffs are very accomodating ,courteous & nice.The hotel is very impressive & clean.Food at Choices was amazing ( went there for Friday lunch) and breakfast too - soooo many varieties to choose from!

Acceptable”
Was told we didn’t need visa to get to this hotel as we were in transit . We called and booked this hotel. The lady on the phone said it was in the “airport zone” so need for visa. When we got there for our 20h transit, we were told we needed visas so we lost the money we paid for the hotel and had to stay in Doha airport for 20h as the airport hotel in the airport was was fully booked!

They will take your money for a room, but you won't be allowed to stay in it because the airport won't let you out. They should've not taken money when they know you cant stay there. And they won't refund you anything at all.

Attentive staff, great room and facilities”
GOOD: Airport pick up - Stop by the Oryx counter after baggage claim, and they'll arrange the shuttle to the hotel - From Hotel to Airport, shuttle runs every 30 mins. Room - Bed / Lighting / TV/ All facilities in good working order, very comfortable stay Gym/Pool Modern gym equipment - opens 24/7, good size gym Pool was of good length, you can do good laps but 1/3 of the pool was too shallow and my hands keep scrapping the bottom of the pool. Staff Everyone, especially the Guest Service/Concierge staff excel at delivering a warm and friendly service. NOT SO GOOD: Breakfast / WIFI - extra cost Since I was paying out of pocket, breakfast for USD35 was very expensive. I can't recall paying so much for hotel breakfast in the states. There are no shops around the hotel so you don't have much options. There's a row of McDonalds/KFC fast food about 15 mins walk away. WIFI is now an essential must-have, am hoping Oryx to revise this and make it as a standard "free" option. Location: If you're transiting, this is a superb airport hotel. I stayed 2 nights and went around Doha as a tourist, this hotel is a bit out of the way. Taxi from Hotel to City Centre Shopping Mall is about USD20.

We were doing stay out with family and friends on Eid Holiday. The 1st stay was not in Oryx and it was not pleasant experience, and the moment we check in to Oryx, my children were so excited and super happy with the look of the hotel at the inside, nicely decorated like some kind of malls. Great check in staff, friendly restaurant staff and good food too, you'll be confused what to eat because don't want to miss anything, cozy lounge, good room, very pleasant ambience. Rate is fair considering all those above points. Definitely will come back and stay in Oryx again next time.

In Doha for 2 day training”
i stayed in doha for a 2 nights and people were very accommodating at oryx rotana. at check in there was not a non smoking room available. i was very upset but they asked me to wait for more people to check out. later in the lobby they came up to me and told me there was approval for an upgrade. i appreciated their help.

Nice Airport Hotel with good food spread ”
It’s not exactly in the airport or by the airport but the hotel provided a free shuttle bus which took around 10 mins to bring us to the hotel. Hotel is clean, service is good and room is big. I topped up for the buffet breakfast & the spread is so good that I felt the top up was of great value. Recommend all transit passengers to stay here as it’s much much cheaper than the Oryx in the airport. Oh yes, and Starbucks is just a 5-min Walk from this hotel.

We are living in Qatar, looking for a break and stay in hotel during eid holiday with family and friends. It was so pleasant, my children were so happy from the moment they enter the lobby hotel it self. The look of the hotel giving them an image that they are in some kind of high class mall. Friendly and helpful staff, easy procedure of checking in, well assistance while using all facilities, everything were so smooth. We post many pictures and asking some more family and friends to stay in Oryx Rotana again next time. The rate they have is so worth it for this kind of hotel. Very professional and you would not regret anything. You would leave the hotel smiling......definitely we want to come back even only to have lunch buffet or dinner, or simply hang out at the lounge for coffee.

This hotel is ideal for long transit at Doha International airport. Free airport transfer was provided by the hotel. Location is near the airport but very few restaurants nearby. We took an Uber to Doha Souq which is a short drive away. Many restaurants and shops for souvenirs.

Excellent Airport Hotel”
Excellent Stay. I used it frequently as I prefer Qatar Airways to others and sometime i have to lay over in Doha. I always come back to this hotel becasue of its proximity to the airport. To be honest i did not try any other hotel, i felt there was no need to do so as I was very satisfied with it. One remark? they should provide WIFI for free in the rooms. Or make it clear that at the bar you can get a small free coupon for few hours internet connection
