Find hotels near Osaka city East in Osaka, Japan

Good communication and quick reply from hotel by email. I worried about the previous Typhoon may affect my trip and couldn’t come to hotel. Therefore I raised my concern to hotel. Their reply was so quick that they would consider my concern since my package couldn’t refund. Luckily my flight arrived to KIX safely. Once I confirmed my flight to hotel, they replied so quick and suggesr me to do the self check-in as my flight arrived after 8pm and the counter may close(just simply send my passport through email). When I arrived to hotel, I couldn’t found the WiFi. I email to hotel and they replied me how to find the log-in ID and password quickly. Excellent customer service! I surprised the location of hotel is so convenient and easy to find. Only 5 mins walk from subway. Nice! The cleanliness was excellent. They provided enough amenities (5 people) for our 4 nights stay. I was so impressed the washing machine with washing powder! Thanks for giving me a wonderful trip in Osaka.

My family of 7 stayed here for 4 days. 5 adults, 1 minor, and 1 senior citizen. We enjoyed our stay. ❤️ Location is 700meters away from Tamatsukuri Station, in a quiet neighbourhood. Nearby convenience store. Beware that most restaurants close at 9pm so its a bit difficult to look for a place to eat when its already late and you might walk a distance to find an open resto. But overall it was a very pleasant stay. The apartment building was clean and comfortable. The rooms are a little small if youre used to Western sized rooms but bigger than those in Osaka city center (which are much smaller and for a way higher price). We booked 2 rooms and we fit just right, very comfy. Our big boys though had to get used to the Japanese sized room and bed but found them to be warm and comfortable. Would definitely book here again on out next trip to Japan 🇯🇵 Thank you so much Galaxy Apartment ❤️

Stayed here for 4 nights and it’s my best accommodation during the Japan trip. It’s around 5-8 minutes walking distance to JR Station or Osaka Subway. Our room have a small kitchen that we can cooked during our stay (Supermarket and store is just 3 minutes walk in front). Have a good experience on the tatami bed and there’s a washing machine inside the room. Laundry can be done and hang at the balcony or we also went to a laundry shop for dryer (also 3-5 minutes walk nearby).

I travel with two children, 1 year old and 7 years old. The staff is so helpful, whenever we confused which way to go, once you text the staff, she will reply immediately, the part I love the most is they do provide washing machine, I can do the laundry over there, it’s helps me to minimise the dirty laundry when I am leaving. The location is convenient to access most of the places in Osaka.

It was a nice choice for my schedule. I stayed in Osaka for a night after landing, this place is close to a station where I can take a Kintesu train to Nara - just within 5 min walking. Varied kinds of restaurants are around the area, you can still find food at late night (less choices after 11pm). The accommodation overall is worth it, clean and well equipped, room was not crowded, bedding was not bad. But do try to take care of your own belongings, I found some of my money missing after leaving there...

I have been osaka for several times and normally I will pick places easy for shopping. And this time I am looking for a relaxing trip and I am glad that I have picked this perfect place. The hostel makes me feel that I live like a local. Nearby mainly are the local residents. I have spent a special holiday which I can enjoy the neighborhood and stayed leisurely. I have a haircut at the nearby salon which I love it alot. I went to the bathing place which is just walkable distance from the hostel. It's awesome that you can then walk back to the hostel right after a hot bath. Of course I still spent a day shopping around at Namba and Shinsaibashi area. It takes me 15 to 20 mins only to go to those shopping districts. I would love to come again for a longer stay. Honestly, if you are looking for a super convenient location and shop around all the time, this may not a suitable choice. But for me, I love this experience and I like the hostel.

It was my first solo trip and first visit to Japan and I've already missed it! Staffs are very lovely and helpful! The first day I emailed due to unexpected flight delay, they let me delay check in time one hour later. There was a morning that I had bad mood (from last night's lost way and stomach problem). Tried to ask a staff about ramen casually with my poor Japanese, but I might turned out to be rude, she answered patiently and I forgot to say the greetings as when Japanese people going out, even a bye. Yet they still did. I felt bad and heart-warmed at the same time (Thank you, Ichiran ramen was awesome!), couldn't stay long but I imagine you'd have a wonderful day in Osaka just hanging out with them alone. Also they'd silently change your towels like ninja and clean the shower few times a day, so you can't really blame them if still seeing something you don't like. In terms of facilities, it's an open space for many beds in entirely floor (I usually come back very late, so if you see bad reviews about noise around sep. 14-18, that'd prob. be me :/), there are curtains as doors which you can hear people whispering or outside door sounds. I suggest guesthouse could sell ear plugs or bring your own. I stayed at 2nd floor and there was a long desk with chairs, water heater next to the beds, but you'll have to fill the water at 1st floor which opened until 10 pm. Tho there are many vending machines outside 24hr. or shower water which I drank (shower room is awesome!). There's also a washing/drying machine. 3rd floor has a balcony for smoking area (I didn't go up there so don't really know about it or 1st floor room). The interior is beautiful overall. Wish the staffs and guesthouse all the best and I'd definitely love to stay there again!

The location and amenities were all nice enough, no complaints at all. It was only maybe a 10-15 minute walk from a JR-Station. The real reason I will be coming back is that the manager of this hostel was one of the nicest people I've met in Japan. After a short conversation he was telling me all if the best places to see in Osaka and his recommendations were great.

I stayed for 4 nights. I think A Japanese who can speak Korean owns this Guesthouse. She can speak korean very fluently so i recommend that Korean use it very easily. I like this place because near it there are a lot of house so this plave is not loud. From this Guesthouse it takes 10 min average to go to subway station, JR Momodani sta and JR Tsuruhashi. To go to nanba sta you have to go to JR Tsuruhashi, from this sta it takes 10-12 min to arrive nanba sta. This Guesthouse do not give any meals for you so you have to buy some food to have a breakfast near the convenient store. Shower room and toilet is only 1 place each. SO sometimes you may wait to use this.

Great location, exactly beside to korean town market in Momodani Osaka where you can find many restaurants and cafe in the neighborhood, but too bad they mostly close at 9 pm, so the area was very quiet after 9 pm and a little bit dark. You can find convenient stores located 5 minutes walk. Amenities like soap, shampoo, hairdryer, paper towel, cutlery are ok. The negative side is, the host said that you have to do self check in and your name with the room number will be written on the whiteboard inside the house, but too bad i was came late night and found that nothing written on the whiteboard. then i decided to take one of the available keys in that house. but then the other guest on the next day got the same situation as me. so confusing. no clear instruction about the self check in, and no staff stay at that house.

After accidentally taken a few wrong trains to wrongs stops, the guesthouse owner, Tammie, met me at the train station. Because I arrived later than 10pm, she charged an additional 1000 yen, which I was fine paying. Tammie was very friendly and spoke excellent English. The facilities at the guesthouse include a full kitchen, which I used numerous times. I stayed in the shared room on the 2nd floor, which has 3 futon pads on the floor for sleeping. I had the room to myself for all of my 3 days there. Note that anyone staying on the 3rd floor will have to walk through your room to get to the stairs leading to the 3rd floor. The place has four rooms for sleeping, which vary in price, and the is one toilet on the first floor. They also have a washing machine for doing laundry (only 100 yen per load), hang to dry. Pretty much everything I needed was within walking distance. Market, post office, ice cream shop, Japanese candy store, liquor store. I had a lovely time staying at Cozy Osaka Guesthouse, and if I visit this city again I would stay here again. Thanks.
