Nice and quiet ”
It was a nice little motel. Me and my partner were the only one staying there so it was peacfull and quiet. Alltough when we were going to check out there were no one there. It was just a sign on the for saying ”closed”. They hadnt told us anything about check out. After a while we found a mailbox to put them in so it wasnt a problem, just a bit weird that they didnt say anything about it. Nice surroundings with all the mountains and the river.

The road to kaikoura was closed. so we took this way. We arrived at night and the restaurant was closed for winter. The owner is kind enough to serve us dinner.
