Nice hotel conveniently located near the bus station”
Stay here for a night well coming to the area to enjoy the hot springs. It's got a nice location right next to the bus station in only 5- 10 minute walk to the main Hot Springs. It also has its own little hot springs that you can enjoy anytime during your stay. I found the Japanese style room very comfortable in that everything that I needed. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic and very filling. I very much enjoyed my stay here!

It is near the station, very good location. There are two private onsens. You can use it at anytime of the day, when there is no one inside. We enjoyed it several times. The facilities are good. The shared restroom is very clean. The Breakfast and dinner are plentiful, especially the dinner.

Good Onsen Hotel with good location”
Oyado Eitaro is a small hotel but it is a very good hotel. Their location is convenience and it is just a few steps away from Hirayu Bus Station. They provide a variety of food for dinner meal. The "horse sashimi" is delicious and we like it very much. Besides the onsen pools for male and female, they also have 2 private onsen pools and you can easily use it as there isn't many customers for this small hotel. We enjoy to stay in this hotel and will definitely come back when we travel to Hirayu again.

Just a few steps from the bus stop. Staff very helpful and friendly, explaining the facilities and meals. Onsen nice and cozy, plus they have chartered baths. Japanese style room spacious. Such a delicious dinner (hida beef very good, as were the fried mountain vegetables, and many other good dishes), and breakfast (again with several vegetables).

Good location and we don't have to carry our luggages upstairs. We enjoy the private onsen a lot. The host allowed us to keep our luggage there after check out and even gave us 2 postcards as souvenirs. Overall a great stay!

Great location extremely near the Hirayu bus terminal. Friendly owners and yummy Japanese breakfast. Not very used to shared toilets but thankfully our room was situated right next to the toilet and there are probably only 3 rooms on each level using the common toilet. Main selling point was the private onsen that we took advantage of multiple times a day! Highly recommended for couples since most onsens are gender segregated but you can enjoy the these ones as a couple :)

Strategically located”
Pros: Very close to the bus station; Spacious Japanese room. T&B was shared but I didn't notice other guests on our floor when we were there (mid-April). Our room had a view of the majestic snowy mountain beyond the bus station. Cons: There was a private onsen, but the water was too hot for me. I don't know how others could stand it. I ended up just showering. What stood out: The lady gave us postcards of Kamikochi upon checkin. I mailed them at the post office near the bus station.

The location is just 1 minute walk from Hirayu onsen bus station, and very close to Hirayu outdoor onsen where the free ticket you can ask to the landlord. The room is spacious and clean with Japanese ornaments and welcoming green tea and snack. The toilets even smell good and clean. The kaiseki (Japanese full-set menu) is so delicious. And the most important thing is the price which is cheaper than other ryoukan.

Really loved my stay here - it was perfectly located next to the bus stop, restaurants and onsens. Can't fault anything here - the place had it's own onsen as well, which was a nice bonus. The rooms were spacious and comfy. The staff, though didn't speak much English, were very kind and helpful. You also get a free entry voucher to the Hirayu Onsen as well which is awesome.
