The staff is the friendliest even for japanese standard!! Super welcoming and helpful even when we missed our bus and left our handphone.!! 10/10 woukd reccomend. Room was super clean and warm during winter. Location is just 50m away from the famous 300-step stairs!

Very nice ryokan with friendly staff”
Staff can speak good English and the ryokan environment is excellent. It locates just next to the stairs in Ikako. The female host came out to say goodbye to us when we check out and staff helped us to take picture in front of their ryokan. It’s a very memorable experience and hope I could visit again in the future.

Services are very nice though comparatively old style in facilities. Breakfast and dinner are acceptable. Parking is a bit strange, separated from the main building with shuttle at a very short distance even by driving.

Onsen hotel with room views of the famous Ikaho steps. They have other facing rooms if you prefer. Breakfast and dinner was good and the staff were absolutely amazing and hospitable. Definitely coming back again.

夫の誕生日と事業独立のお祝いを兼ねた旅行だったので、 いつも宿泊するホテルとはランクを上げて滞在させてもらいました。 結果、大満足の温泉旅行になりました。 露店風呂付きの和室は、独立性が担保されており、くつろぐことができました。 朝を迎えた街を眺めながらの朝風呂は贅沢ですね。 また、お食事処も、谷川岳が望める素敵な席でした。 季節を感じる食材をふんだんに使った料理に舌鼓を打ちました。 お天気があいにくの曇りで、遠くまでスッキリ望めなかったのですが、 それでも日暮れとともに影を濃くする山の稜線を見れて気持ちが和みました。 チェックアウト時に驚いたのは預けた靴が磨かれていたことと、 近場の路線バスバス停まで車で送っていただけたこと。 さりげない心配りに夫と二人感激しました。 また、贅沢をしに訪れたいお宿です。 ありがとうございました。

各方面都一流水準”
住了兩晚, 為我們準備了完全不同的早/晚兩餐. 食才新鮮, 烹調方法一流, 還有一些之前沒嘗過的美食, 那個鮪刺身和上州牛更是一絕. 旅館員工雖然不太懂英語, 但有準備好翻譯機, 也會盡力去了解你的需要, 詳盡解釋餐飲的食法和各項旅館設施. 我租的是北館頂樓"杠", 房間寬敞整潔, 楊台有兩張躺椅及一張搖搖櫈, 可以飽覽整個伊香保的景色. 露天風呂位於楊台有遮蔭的部分, 浸浴不受天氣影響. 臨走時, 員工主動為你拍照留念, 有安排專車送你去斜坡下的停車場, 上車時老闆娘還親自出來送別及送上記念品. 整體而言, 是一次很好的體驗, 絕對會想再去一趟.
