Terrible hotel with unfriendly and stingy owner”
I had selected this hotel based upon good reviews but it turned out to be one of the worse hotel selected. I am listing my experience here... *. This hotel is located in dirty and narrow lanes. The cars cant come near hotel and one has to drag the luggage walking upto half Km. *. Agoda doesnt provide hotel's mobile number and we were finding difficult to locate the hotel. Went into hotel website to find a a mobile number listed which was switched off all the time. Neither their number is mentioned in Google Map. *. The rooms are very small and stinky as it doesnt has ventilations. The toilets are equally bad with no exhaust fan and too small to use. *. The entire flooring in hotel is of marble slabs which get extremely cold in winter moths. *. The property owner doesnt want to offer you even a bottle of complimentary water for your stay. *. They mention complimentary breakfast but they give you 2 oil soaked tasteless paratha prepared by their only one staff which does everything - cooking, housekeeping etc. The owner said the complimentary breakfast will not come with tea/coffee nor any extras such as pickles or curd. *. The pantry is so small and the same space is also shared with their staff's stay. *. There are much better hotels available in vicinity so I will never recommend this hotel to anyone.

A good stay with courteous staff ”
We stayed here for 3 days. Pros: 1) Location wise excellent. It is situated in police bazar. very close to the market. 2) Behaviour of staffs and manager is very polite and helpful, in any issues they have taken prompt action. we have faced some issue flush in toilet, they promptly repair at 6 am in the morning. 3) Food is tasty with reasonable price (veg only) compared to other hotels in this area. Cons: 1) The hotel is in a narrow bylane, not accessible by car. you have to walk around 200 metre from parking to hotel. 2) Hotel is situated just besides a huge drainage system. Very awful odor just outside the hotel.

It's a nice hotel to stay considering the not so friendly behavior of almost all hotels in Shillong, location is perfect, food is great, service is A class and the front desk manager is overwhelming at times over overwhelming.... Only draw back is they will force you to vacate before 11 am ideally it should be 12 PM. Rest all fine.

You need to back hotel before 10pm.If you have wife/girlfriend with you dont go hotel after 10 pm. Hotel is very good.Location is good but after 10pm it becomes very dangerous. Few drunk people creating problems in the road.

Average stay..disappointing location”
Difficult to access by car. Need to walk some distance and the route to the hotel is not very clean. Other than the locality, rest all facilities were good. The staff was very helpful.

Genuine Review”
I booked a room for 3 persons. Although the room was for two persons, during the booking, i was said that an extra bed will be provided. To my surprise, there was no extra bed. Instead, the staffs provided me a mattress only which will be spread by the staffs when I go to sleep. I came back from from the dinner at 10.45 pm. All the staffs fell asleep. I called the manager/head over phone. He asked me to knock the door where the staffs were sleeping. Then they gave the mattress and asked me to spread the mattress myself as it was too late for them to do it. Literally, the staffs behavior was very bad. The head also behaved poorly when I told him that I do not need any kitchen. He said it is our job to provide it irrespective of your requirement (loudly). I request you who are booking, book at your own risk. Also the location was very bad. Your four wheeler cant reach there. It took a lot of time to reach there from the police bazaar.

Comfortable stay with all basic amenities ”
Its a 5-10 minute walk from shillong police bazaar crossing. Its a bit hard to find but rooms are good. My son loved watching cartoons on the big lcd tv. Washroom was clean and had geyser. They have pure veg restaurant too.

Only veg food is available in the hotel but anyone can take non veg food from outside. Lift facility is available. Home stay is at 3rd floor. Home stay is 100 m from main road only. Ratings : 3.5

The room was clean, breakfast was sufficient, and the receptionist was nice. However, they didn't have much important information for tourists, such as how to get to Cherapunji. They should study more.
