Pathetic staff behavior”

The behavior of the manager was pathetic. Very small room and you can’t open the window (The only window present there). The toilet is also very small, it just 3.5 ft x 6 ft and no exhaust fan available inside, but Geyser was available. In case of table present inside the room, a dirty old news paper was used to cover it (No table cover). Location wise (i.e., Laban), it’s not bad. I was in that locality 8-9 yrs when I was in Shillong.

Decent, budget hotel, good location”

This is situated in Laban, and all touristy locations are easily accessible from here. For breakfast I got roti/sabji, paratha, tea, etc and there are a lot of restaurants, shops, departmental stores nearby, so food is not a problem. There is parking space too. I had a single room with bathroom attached, but it was quite a small space, just enough for the bed and a wardrobe. It costed 1100/- for a single room and I think it was a bit too much. Anyway, it was a decent stay with the basic amenities provided and since the location was good, so it wasn't crowded or noisy. Also the care takers were helpful. Not a bad choice even for a last minute booking.

Best home stay in reasonable price.”

This homestay is away from the main Shillong but as we were there to visit Meghalaya we did not have any issue with this. The behaviour of the staffs is very good. The food quality was homely. They were very cooperative
