About the bungalow only”
We stayed in the stand-alone-bungalow and it was quite noisy there. Ok, no neighbours in other rooms but a lot of noise from outside. Starting 5:45am, when a few times per week the fish-vendor shouted extremely loud with his big speaker. Not to talk about the chicken and dogs and all kind of activities and talking by the crew or other guests, sometimes starting 3am. The bungalow is close to the street, the motobike-parking and the walkway in and out of the resort, having almost no noise-reduction by the glass-windows and a big open space around the aircon. The inside was very simple, almost no chance to put the belongings and the bags. We were only 2 but it has 5 (!!) places to sleep in 2 beds. The floor was tiled, so it's easy to clean and only a few ants found the way in from the bathroom. The bathroom was also very simple, a toilet-seat and the cover was missing, only toilet-paper was provided. No hot water, only later in the day after the sun heated it up - but then it was almost boiling. Ants - as I said. The location of the resort is good, not far from everything in Yumbing, no car or moto needed. TV has a lot of channels, WiFi didn't work always but thats a problem of Camiguin I think.

I took the ferry to Camiguin and then a jeepney to Mambajao. I then took a tricycle to Pabualan Cottage. On arrival a woman appeared shouting 'Not here. Not here'. The tricycle left and I pointed out to the woman that I had a reservation, I was standing outside the room I thought I had booked. The woman then proceeded to take me on a route march, dragging my luggage behind me, out of the street, along a road, across the main road and up a dirt track where I had to carry my luggage. We arrived at a couple of outbuildings where I was shown a basic room. I protested but having nowhre else to go I stayed. Next day they did move me to the room I had booked but only after strong protestations. This room was good but marred by the old man of the family constantly and loudly clearing his throat and expectorating next door. Some of the photos on their website are actually of the family home and do not relate to guest accomodation. When I eventually left they took me to the airport, a short journey along an uncongested road, and tried to charge me more than I paid for a airport taxi in Manila. I refused to pay and they went away. All of this rather spoiled my visit to Camiguin. I may return there in future but will certainly not stay in Pabualan.

It was our great experience ever! The cottage is very silent, we are very satisfied with our sleep. Honest & friendly owners. Very cheap accommodation but not compromising our experiences good for shoe-string travellers who wants to have a good stay! Camiguin is a paradise!

Well first the bad (which was NOT the hotel's fault). The first night there was a island brownout which somewhat killed out first night, no aircon, tv, wifi. Next 2 days were awesome!My wife and I took a whole day island tour which we designed ourselves. The whole cost was only 1500 pesos which we got with a pre-arranged pick up and drop off to the airport. Teddy, the owner, and his sister were amazing. Friendly and very flexible. We had the standard room. The wifi was amazingly FAST and very very good. No shut off at midnight....was on 24 hours. Aircon was a nice window unit. Cold shower, but the rooms were very clean with nice soft pillows.They will cook for you on site if you wish, just arrange it with them.the best part we were a 5 min walk to the white island terminal and 5 mins to Luna (delicious pizzas and pastas) and a convenience store (checkpoint) and a few sari stores. (Note--white island: the people on the island lied to us and told us 150 rental for umbrella instead of 50. beware of the island guys who rent things). So overall--clean rooms, nice beds. GREAT strong wifi. Aircon. Sat TV. Good cheap tour. Very friendly and lovely staff/owner. This will surely be where we stay when we return. (travel tip---if you are scared to fly take the boat. it was a rather scary flight going there)

편안하게 묵을 수 있는 곳”
화이트 아일랜드로 출발하는 포구마을 윰빙의 조용한 주택지에 있어서 안전하며 독채와 같이 따로 대문이 있는 숙소에서 묵었습니다. 바이크를 빌려 메인 하이웨이와 멀지 않아 5일 동안 카미긴의 주요 장소를 골고루 다닐 수 있었고 인근에 지역에서 인기있는 식당인 Rocky's ResTo가 있어서 식사하기에도 즐거웠습니다~ 다만 아고다에서 대폭 할인되는 것처럼 게시된 것과는 달리 900~1000페소 정도가 호텔이 요구하는 숙박비입니다. 아고다 할인가가 약간 더 싸긴 했지만 게시된 것 처럼 파격할인은 아니라는 것입니다. 호텔위치도 아고다 지도와 판이하여 찾는데 어려움이 있었습니다.
