Definitely Bang for the Buck”
Paguia's Cottages is one of the most affordable accommodation if you are on a budget but want comfortable and enjoyable stay. The rooms are clean and well maintained, relatively new. The hotel manager had let me check in early since the flight to Camiguin was also early in the morning. Also, the tour guide would offer you reasonable rates for your day tour depending on activities you want to do in Camiguin. The hotel also rents out multicabs and motor bikes for tourists who want to visit the spots in the island. A stay in Paguia's Cottages is definitely worth it!

Great Customer Service/Poor WIFI”
i was not very pleased with my overall visit in camiguin but i thought it should not affect my review for paguia's cottage. customer is 100% satisfactory! it's their best selling point. next is the security and peace in their place. room rates is super excellent -cheap but nice rooms. i just find their island tour package a little bit pricey as well as their port transfer. supposedly, if i hire a multicab (regardless of # of people), it will cost one way. so that makes it 400php back and forth. while paguia offers one way port transfer for which makes it back and forth! :( very big difference. wifi is another problem i had when i was there. i am a freelance worker and i need internet connection to be able to enjoy my vacation at the same time not leaving my work. one of the things that made me choose paguia is their wifi connection however it didn't work when i was there. i can see the signal but because its very poor, i can't get any page to load. i think the room given to us is just too far from the wireless router/source. i hate to say this but this part has really affected my review but i am always open to stay in paguia again granted that i can get a room near to the router. thanks for the great customer service

i was surprised that our room is huge for couple :) free use of towel but bring your own toiletries:) best location its 5 minutes walk going to boat station going to white island. it's feel likes home for me, the staff is very accomodating and helpful to your needs. if i had a chance to go back in Camiguin definitely i will go back to stay in Paguia's cottages.

Personalize Friendly Service”
Don't expect a posh hotel with grand lobby and concierge to greet you. Paguia's Cottage is a nice place for friends to stay because it's safe and affordable. It's a good place for families as well. They have a kitchen where you can cook for a minimal fee. They have a multicab pick up service for your transportation. The place is right across the White Island though you need to rent a boat to get there. The place is quite and we had a great night sleep. One down-side is the lack of hot water and the range of wi-fi connection. But the place is clean & you're close to nature. A small convenience stores are located at the back if you need anything from ice to canned goods.

Basic Comfort”
Cottages are basic but clean and comfortable. Two beds, TV, Aircon, basic bathroom with cold water shower. Rented a motorbike at cottage and was able to explore all over the island. Had a nice stay with no complaints or issuers. I recommend Paguia's Cottages not only to Agoda users but will also recommend to my personal friends.

we were extremely satisfied with paguia's cottages. the room that we got was more than what we expected, we booked a room for 2 but got a room that was good for 4 people. the room was clean and spacious. everyone was very accommodating and nice. it made us feel very much at home.

Perfect Budget Place in Camiguin!”
we arrived late due to some flight concerns from CDO on. we asked for a transport arrangement from Paguia to their place. We were picked up even if we arrived at around 5-6pm. They really provided the best customer service. They were really helpful knowing our predicament of a tight schedule. They offered the best solutions and arranged whatever we can make the most of our time. The room is unbelievably cozy, clean and big for a very very reasonable price. I just really love sky short stay in camiguin because of Paguia.

Small cottages with large outside seating area”
Small cottages with large outside seating area on tidy grounds. Cottage had two queen beds, a/c, cold water only in the bathroom, weak wifi. Cottage are mostly basic but make a good base camp to explore Camiguin Island. Staff seem like genuinely kind people, helpful and friendly. No problems or issues at check in or check out.

Cozy rooms for the Camiguin getaway”
Paguia's place is in Mambajao, the capital of the province of Camiguin. We booked a room good for four, and got what we expected and paid for. It's near white islands, and is within walking distance to some of the dining areas. The downside of staying in this hotel is the room's water supply pressure. They don't offer food service so you have to get out of Paguia's to eat at Paras Beach Resort or Luna Ristorante which are all within walking distance (about 3-5 minutes for Paras and 5-10 minutes for Luna).

Nice plate to stay for a while...”
Except for the rainy weather in January we really enjoyed our stay at Paguia's. The Cottage was good for 2-4 adults. The offer motorbikes for rent at reasonable rate and there is a Sari Sari store right at the entrance. Restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner are all within walking distance, also the boat pier for White Island. Its not a 5 Star place (I would rate 2 Stars), but definitely a recommendation.

Nice stay, would probably choose this place again”
We had a good stay at this hotel, its a budget one, but very good value for money. Location is great, just in the middle of Yumbing village, all restaurants and shops within 5 minutes walking distance, staff was doing well enabling early check in and check out since the only flight to/from Camiguin is early in the morning. The only drawback we saw in Paguias was no hot shower and Wifi never working starting from afternoon till late at night.

Great location near White island”
the staff are accommodating and considerate. the hotel is near at one of the tourist spots and scenic view view of Camiguin which is the White Island. Some special arrangements can be made with regards to transportation and tour packages. Room is ideal for group of four but it can be maximized up to 5 person. the room is not that big but it is clean and well-maintained. there is also ample space outside (veranda) where guests can stay while having bonding activities like playing cards and simply chit-chat

Affordable and Quality”
We felt we got more with the price we paid. We didn't expect major problems. Really near the white island, and you may arrange for a tour with Rene, the owner of the place. Their, breakfast though is not recommended but it's walking distance to good restaurants. It is a recommended place to stay in Camiguin.

There is nothing fancy about the exterior but the interior of the cottages are very nice. Wide comfortable beds with wi fi in those cottages nearest the router in the main building. Free wi fi is avalabe in the main building and it has excellent connection. The cottages are located across from a small beach that is shaded most of the time. Off shore is white beach which for a small fee, one of the boat will take you out and you can spend the day on a wonderful fine coral sand beach. Water if crystal clear for those interested in diving. The dive boats are located across the street from the cottages. The people who own and operate it are most accomadating to solve any problems you incur locally and can arrange for you to go on economical tours. They rent cycles and it is not far from some of the best hot springs I ever ever been to that also has crystal clear water.

Tidy cottages in a nice quiet setting”
Simple rooms but clean and efficient. Each cottage has its own large porch with seating area, nice to sit outside in the evening or take your meals outside. Very hospitable staff. Cottages located in a quite neighborhood close to the beach. Many restaurants nearby also small shops to buy drinks and snacks nearby. Check-in and check-out was no hassle.

Not great and not bad.....just ok”
This is an ok place to stay. Location wise its in the best are on Camiguin to stay. Be aware though that there are no hot water showers here and the water is really really cold! They also dont have a generator and brown outs are common here! The internet is not very good but the tv worked fine. There are restaurants at the top of the road and in my opinion check point for price and quality was the best. Rent a scooter to tour this lovely quiet island for around 300peso 24hrs.

An ok budget hotel.”
Be aware that there are no hot water showers in any of the rooms at this property. Its location is good in comparison to other locations on the island. By that i mean it is close to the departure point for boats to white island and 3 or 4 restaurants. Checkpoint and Northern lights restaurant are the best for food and price in my opinion. But be aware this island has a severe lack of restaurants. Paguias cottages are ok, its a family run business and the people are friendly enough. However getting your room cleaned and changes of towels and bedding us not forthcoming and i had to chase them up daily. On 2 occasions they just plainly said oh i forgot. I wanted my room cleaned every 2 dats which i thought was fair but over 7 days only managed to get them to clean it twice and change the towels 3 times. Disappointing.

cool place, quiet surroundings just across Paras beach resort door of our first cottage was jammed but the staff immediately transferred us to another unit room rate is very reasonable and rooms are spacious enough with two large beds, each could accommodate 2 persons
