silent and relaxing bc. far from the nightlife”
the resort is far away from anything. so its silent. but because of the nearly monopol, the korean restaurant is very expensive, compared with others, even at panglao. the rooms are clean but small. there wasn't a tv or fridge, we could order for an extra charge. also the extra bed for a 6 years old was 400 peso. the transportation is very expensive also (eg. tricad in argao up to 3 kilometers: 7 peso; panglao island easily 100 - 200 peso). you must argument to get a small rebate. the beach is great! daily cleaned, sandy, flat (good for small kids, bad for swimmers). the ideal location for relaxing. a own diving organises trips and offers the license.

Beautiful beach, poor location”
Palm Island was a beautiful hotel with a friendly staff. The beach is pretty nice but it is a bit far from anything else. The restaurant is expensive, and wi-fi is practically non existent. The only real problem I had was that I left my key with the front desk, and when I arrived home at 11:00pm everyone had left and the owner had gone to bed. Also, the owner was not too happy about waking up to let us in our room! So, be careful with that! Other than that, the rooms were very nice, pool was nice and the staff was great! Oh, and there is no hot water FYI

It was more than what we've expected. The hotel is located in front of the white powdery sand of the beach. The room is quite nice but we keep on reminding them to put 2 towels in our room. Seems that they only have a few staff but their staff are warm and accommodating.Food is a bit expensive compared to the other restaurant but their grilled pork is one of the best.We would say, that our stay was still good.

Very Unremarkable”
Nothing special, only for sleeping. It only serve its purpose if you will be out all the time to sightsee and explore Panglao Island and the entire island of Bohol. Breakfast is only one egg, a slice of bad ham and a slice of bread of set meal.

Not a Resort by any means”
Maybe the definition of resort is different in the Philippines, but these beach shack rooms were a far cry from any resort I've ever seen. The sink did not work (no water at all) until after we asked twice for it to be fixed. "Fixed" meant we not only had water when we wanted it, but it flowed continuously out of the pipes at the back of the sink, making the bathroom floor a constant puddle--add to that constant sound of water draining down the drains on the floor-- not fun. There was also a steady stream of small ants on the wall by the beds. The TV had 2 channels--one static and one half static (I know you don't go to the beach to watch TV, but if you're going to bother putting one in the room I think there should be a use for it.) The free breakfast was a set--some form of eggs, sweetish toast/bread, 2 ham slices, and the saving grace that was half a mango. We ate it because it was "free," not because it was good. We had Korean food the first night and while it was fine, it was exorbitantly priced—a place of chicken for 1300 pesos… We ended up eating at the hotel next door—which is also where we would stay if we went there again, more $$ but worth it. The location was pretty—the beach and ocean etc, but you couldn’t really swim from there unless you had water shoes—too many things in the water (rocks, corral, urchins).

I had my room changed from Standard to Deluxe. The Deluxe room had at least better air conditioning unit and facing the ocean. Their published rate that included breakfast was cheaper than what they charged me for switching and didn't include breakfast. The bed was not comfortable at all. Their bed sheets were too thin. They do not have cable for their TV so reception is very poor. Their bathroom leaves much to be desired. They could have built the shower stall at least 4 inches lower than their water closet and sink. As it is, you take a shower and the whole bathroom floor gets wet. It becomes messy after a while.

The photos for this hotel looked great but arriving there it was a lot different. The pool in the centre of the grounds was nice but the rooms were very basic and had a rattly old wall air conditioner that just kept the room cool. There was no hot water for the shower and the meals were average.

no tv inside the room, the food in the resort is expensive, the room is too old and needs renovation, no hot water, then we have to consistently tell them to open the water. they also dont change the bed sheets if someone checks out they only change the towels.

The more dirty beach i saw in my life”
Very bad, no electricity, no water, very dirty, garbage on the beach and ants highway with cocroachs in the room. The dive shop there let O2 tank for dive all the day on the sun! Very dangerous for dive.

Very disappointing”
The standard room we stayed in was very poor. The room was a plain white box and just had a bed and tiny refrigerator and that was it. There was no where to put any clothes or belongings- no shelves, table, chair, draws, cupboard, mirror- nothing. We were there for 6 nights and the toilet broke 3 times and we had no water on several occasions. The staff were unhelpful and not very friendly, every single time they cleaned the apartment we had to ask for another towel as they would only leave one. I asked to speak to a manager/owner after the toilet broke for the third time but no one ever came to see us. The beds/pillow were really uncomfortable and the air-con was very noisy. If we hadn't paid up front we would of checked out after the first night. The restaurant at the hotel was very expensive and the quality of food was poor with small servings.

Its a 2 star hotel but never 3 star. The only Advantage is the hotel is on the beach. The breakfast and the infrastructural are primitive.

Unacceptable”
Room needed repair. Window stuck open. Hot water heater was disconnected with cord taped to towel rack. Water unavailable first during the night, then for several hours the following afternoon. Hotel manager demanded we downgrade our room for another guest. We had to call Agoda to keep our 'deluxe' room. Electricity unavailable for 2 plus hours. There is no backup generator on site.

Own by very cheap korean. Staff arent able to speak or understand english. Everytime you ask for something the staff always asked permision to the owner. . The room has no TV, Phone and no housekepping. Swimming pool has no light at night and beach is dirty. Wifi access is located at the frontdesk which is the owner is present all the time and stared at us. It made our stay very uncomfortable and unenjoyable.
