Great boutique hostel with great price”
Love it here! Stayed in the mixed room for 4, there is curtain on every bed, and while it is comfortable the bed is a bit on the smaller side - I'm 110kg/5'3" and it fitted very snugly. The guy above me kept dropping his phone while he's sleeping because it's just too narrow. Anyway the hostel itself is great with free tea and lounge and very well equipped kitchen (though a bit narrow). The bathrooms are great, the water pressure is amazing and the hot water is plentiful. There are hair dryers everywhere and places to put your shoes outside your room. Didn't try breakfast but from what I saw it had lots of variety and the bread smelled delicious

As a single female travelling on her own safety is a huge importance and the security that Palmers Lodge: Swiss Cottage provide is outstanding your key card doesn't just unlock your room door it unlocks the front gate, the front door as well as other areas of the hostel which means that there is a high level of security in place so there's no chance of people just wandering in and you constantly feel safe whilst there. It doesn't even feel like a hostel, the feel and the decor makes it feel like a 5-star experience. As for the staff were so lovely and helpful throughout my stay

Perfect for budgeted backpacker”
I was backpacking in London, with the price offered, it is recommended to stay here, there is two nearby underground stations and a few grocery stores in super short distant. Staff is friendly and the toilets are clean.

Well worth all the great reviews this place gets. Couldn’t get in for months last year as it was always booked. Staff are incredible a big shout out to THERESA on reception who truly went beyond the call of duty over and above but that is not to say that all the staff on reception were nothing but brilliant as well. Barman great too. WELL DONE PALMERS LODGE - you make it all look easy but it is hard work, skills and great people who make this work in a beautiful building. Loved my stay and would recommend 100% and will be back. Catherine

The staffs were generous and helpful. The facilities were full. I was impressed in many ways and they fulfill my London trip to the best. I wish I could extend my stay with them more. I didn't have breakfast with them but it looked really great.

Everything I needed for my stay at an affordable price. Lovely old building, very well-kept and clean. Bring a padlock though, lockers provided in rooms but not locks!

I love this hostel! It’s extremely affordable for London. While it’s not right next to the tourist hot spots, the tube makes it easy to get back and forth. The hostel is cute, warm, and homey and has the best showers that I have had in a hostel. The privacy curtain really adds to the experience and makes it really easy to sleep! My only complaint would be that the pillow was pretty flat and that the WiFi cut out once and a while. If I get to go back to London I will come back.

Super clean, privacy curtains around bed are great. Con Male staff came into female dorm room without a clear announcement. Another guest in the room was an obnoxious complainer. Other than that, I highly recommend this hostel and would stay here again.

If you're visiting London for a quick stop, then this is ideal. Location is okay, a little walk from a tube station but it's in a nice quiet area. Don't expect too much from here unless you're just planning on getting some rest whilst you're exploring London. Staff were very friendly and helpful, too.

Featured hostel, good and rather safer location as a female solo traveller. But the wooden floor cause some noise when people walking while i am sleeping. I live in the uppest floor, I’m always hit my head by the wood stripes from ceiling. However comparing to other hostels, i definitely recommend this!
