Quiet hotel with nice staff”
Basic, clean hotel with friendly staff. The wifi signal was weak from my room so I often sat outside by the door (small table and chairs are provided). No major complaint.

Safe us from Street fraud”
Great service, accidentally got and almost fall into a Street fraud under violence threat for tourist service; the customer service afford help and show great willingness in helping us out of it! Very reliable and trustful!

Helpful friendly staff”
Beautiful property. It rained almost everyday so didn’t try the pool. Helpful staff. It’s on a quiet side road halfway between the beach and the main restaurant road in town. So maybe 7 minute walk either way. It is very dark at night for the few blocks on the dirt road so make sure you have battery on your phone or take the flashlight conveniently left for you in the room.

Good location and well maintained ”
First of all it’s very clean and there’s no unpleasant smell. The garden set up is vey tropical. The pool is clean that I can see the bottom tile. It’s quiet and far away enough from Alona Beach where the action is on going. And yet near enough that it takes only 10-15 mins. walk. Maybe even less if only the roads are paved. We wished we stayed more days here than the other more expensive place.

Toilet issue”
The waste toilet water came up in the shower floor. I saw my own number “2” waste from the toilet coming up..I told the staff, and it seem to have happend before in there reaction to my comment. However, they fix it when I were out some hours

Fantastic beyond expectations!”
Firstly, the service provided was superb. We were very worried about the recent damage done by the typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) and the earthquake in Bohol in November and October 2013 respectively, since our arrival was just a week after the typhoon happened. I kept calling the hotel staff and both of the counter staff were very informative, honest and helpful in dealing with our needs and explaining the situation in Bohol and Panglao island especially. They helped us book tours and arrange for airport transfers. They also helped us prepare bottles of water in advance and acceded to our request to extend the use of the power generator (since the period post typhoon, there was limited power supply island-wide). They even offered to upgrade us from 2 small rooms to the big villa. Overall, I must really commend their wonderful their service rendered. The rooms are spacious and clean and the pool and breakfast were surprisingly very good. The distance to Alona beach is about 5-10 minutes by foot and is an easy walk though it can be a bit dark at night for ladies, although we felt safe at all times as the people in Panglao were downright nice and sincere. I would strongly recommend visiting Bohol and Panglao in spite of the aftermatch of the typhoon and earthquake as no serious damage had been done, and most of the tourist sights have been up and running by mid November. And of course, I would recommend Palms Cove Resort - lovely place! 5 stars for value.

Smiling staff, relaxing resort with zen design ”
Wonderful staff, they are always smiling and try the best to help you. Breakfast is nice no matter American style or porridge. The resort is on a gravel road from the avenue, but don’t worry, they will pick you up to Alona beach by tricycle. The room is quite big for two people, designed in a combination of Filipino and Japanese Zen style. From previous reviews there was some power failure happened before. Since the reception carefully checked all the room we do not face the issue. Overall I am happy to choose Palms Cove as our relaxing resort in Panglao :)

Couples Winter Vacation”
My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Palms Cove Resort. It is just a short 5 minute walk to the beach but away from the craziness of the touristy part of Alona Beach. Very quiet and relaxing in the evening. Excellent service, the staff was incredible and did everything to make our stay enjoyable. They even helped to schedule massage services and arranged for a island hopping/snorkeling tour. The food was also excellent. Overall, a wonderful hotel and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the Alona Beach area.

Fabulous stay, Excellent choice!”
We really enjoyed out stay at Palms Cove resort, the staff were fantastic, nothing to much trouble for them. It was a mere 3 minute walk (we actually timed it!) to the beach down a local road. This was street lit at night and they provided a flashlight for additional light if necessary. The room was very comfortable, baygon bug repeller provided for any pesky mosquitos. The pool was spotless and proved a lovely place to relax. The hotel is far enough away from the beachfront noise to make relaxation enjoyable. Breakfast, which was included was the nicest we have had on this trip. Wifi was fast and reliable, available in the rooms. It is a small, comfortable and very clean hotel and we would not hesitate to reccommed.

Great service and location”
We loved Palms Cove Resort. The staff there were super helpful and cleaned our rooms every day when we requested. Their complimentary break was was decent and service in general was very professional. Only a short 5 minute walk to Alona beach, or a free tricycle ride from the premises. You can also hire a scooter/motorcycle from there for 500p a day to explore the island. Shower was a very good pressure - rarely get that in the Philippines. Would stay here again!

We had the suite room which was much better than we expected, the hotel is very quiet but close enough to walk to the beach. Staff are super friendly and helpful and offer a free tricycle service into town. The pool was also great and very clean. They offer an airport transfer, but we found it was much cheaper to organise it yourself. We would definately come back and highly recommend Palms Cove Resort.

Our stay at the Palms Cove Resort was most enjoyable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and well maintained. We were a short 5 or 6 minutes to the beach. It was also nice to sit by the hotel pool to read and have a refreshment.

Amazing”
Palms cove was perfect. Less than five min walk from the main Alona beach, just a few rooms interdispersed with beautiful vines and plants and trees and a very lovely pool and staff. The food is also unbelievable. The front desk helped us arrange all accommodations. The room was spankin clean, white sheets and towels that smelled fresh, and the AC worked perfectly. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and would def return. Thank you!

Excellent, cozy resort”
The resort had superb customer service. Kudos to Ms.Janet and her team for making our stay extra special. They also had very good, reliable wifi connection which was another plus if you also plan to catch up on work. The suite room was very spacious, clean with access to a rooftop deck. The twin rooms were also very nice. Only downside was the noise coming from nextdoor room -we stayed in one of the superior twin room. Maybe the resort can also invest in some good quality soundproofing especially if your guests are light sleepers, this would really add more value to your property. All in all my family and I had a wonderful stay at your resort and would definitely come back, even recommend the resort to our friends who are also planning to visit Panglao.

Our stay at Palms Cove was superb! This small hotel provides you with the homey environment. The staff were attentive and considerate. Our private villa was huge and comfy! Could have stayed for more nights for relaxation.
