I will always choose this hotel whenever in Bohol”
I went to Tagbilaran with 2 friends and we stayed at MetroCentre Hotel. This is one of the more upscale hotels in the city. Since they will be leaving the next day and I will be left alone in Bohol for 2 more nights, we looked for a budget hotel/inn where I can stay. We canvassed 2 to 3 hotels around a budget of less than 1000 pesos a night and all the choices we had were terrible. We went to Panda Tea Garden Suites, we were so happy because the rooms were almost the same quality of that of MetroCentre Hotel. I am very very satisfied with my stay here, considering the very ugly hotels and inns of the same price. It's also a five minute walk away from the biggest mall in Bohol, Island City Mall or more commonly referred to as ICM. I will definitely book this hotel again!

The hotel personnels were so accommodating.”
On our first day with Panda Tea Garden, I thought the rooms were so small but we found out that the superior rooms were just right and nice to stay. We had 3 rooms in our stay, 2 rooms are superior and 1 room is De luxe, you have to add additional superior rooms. The hotel is near the mall so you can buy anything you want in just a ride to tricycle. The restaurant was good. And the personnels were so accomodating and assisted us in everything we need.

Value for money”
We chose Panda Tea Garden Suites because of the room rate. We were doing a short stay in Bohol so we basically needed only a decent place to sleep in. Breakfast was really good, and they have a fastfood type restaurant/bakeshop at the lobby. The staff are friendly and it was quick to check in & out. The room was pretty small though. It was convenient to take public transport because the hotel is at roadside. We had a chance to meet the owner and her daughters...and she was very nice and accommodating.

Buttered Vegetables”
Panda Tea Garden Suites..... A time capsule hotel. 5 years since our previous visit little has changed. We found the receptionist rude and unwelcoming, to such a degree we cut our visit short by a day. The rooms are in desperate need of renovation, the aircon in my room was as if an old man was sucking an ice cube and coughing once in a while. HOWEVER not all is terrible, the price is reasonable and the waitresses in the restaurant are good, friendly and try their very best to get it right. We only had one meal there and had the Buttered Vegetables, which my well traveled senior parents adored, exclaiming with joyous shouts of 'oh they are wonderful' With that the shabby rooms, rude receptionist were almost forgotten. Unfortunately illness will prevent my father ever returning to Bohol, however if i visit i wouldn't stay at this hotel, but would certainly visit for the buttered vegetables !!!

Lovely Hotel and service with a smile”
we stayed there for business and leisure.rooms are cheap but with no breakfast. They even have 985p rooms. 2 single bed rooms for people who want to really save. We just ride the tricycle to go to the Island City Mall. 10 peso per person ride you can walk if you have the time around 15 to 20 min. approx. If you want to go to a nice beach quiet and clean just visit Bohol Beach Club (BBC). Try to look for a ride going there and pay a fee 500p upon entering if on weekends, cheaper if on weekdays. The 350p is consumable for food, 150p is for swimming this is the breakdown on the 500p when we went there. Can't go to bohol without going to the beach :)

Good clean and comfortable rooms, close to airport”
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Panda Tea Garden Suites. It is conveniently close to the airport, and free pick up and drop off is provided. The rooms were clean, with air con and a small tv.

Value for money”
A 15min trike ride from Tagbilaran Port, Panda Tea hotel isn't bad when it comes to location (if you wish to be near Island City Mall), but food isn't too good and we had to eat out just to satisfy our cravings. Staffs are very accommodating; we requested to be transferred to another room as Room 16 feels creepy and had unpleasant sound.

Very good”
Nice boutique hotel near Tagbilaran airport. I appreciate the early check-in without charges. Staff are good and welcoming to guest. Met the owner and she was very accommodating. Room is spacious with cool airconditioning. Toilet door would not close probably due to the earthquake few years back. Bidet was a surprise. They have a generator in response to the power outage from Leyte quake. Would welcome toiletries aside from toothbrush and paste. Bed is firm and pillow soft. Their restaurant offers tasty and reasonably priced food with good serving size. Near main road. Water pressure good but takes time to warm. Value for money if you do not mind taking the stairs.

Nice budget hotel in a good location”
I would stay at this hotel again if passing through Tagbilaran. It was basic but for the price I can't complain (much). It is very close to Dao terminal and Island City Mall. The food was good and yes, unfortunately, their baking has ants crawling by them.

OK but a little disappointing”
I chose this hotel because of some favourable reviews and the location, near to the Island City Mall. The proximity to the mall was certainly convenient but I found the hotel a bit disappointing. An essential for me is to have good wifi Internet access, even if not in the rooms. The Panda has wifi in the coffee shop but, though it is fine when it works, I found it very unreliable. I was also disappointed that there is no laundry service – fortunately I had time for the 3-day turnaround at the laundry in the mall. The rooms are simple but quite nice, as the hotel is fairly new. There was no refrigerator in mine, which would be useful – perhaps more expensive rooms have them. The food in the coffee shop is ok as far as it goes. What they have is quite nice but the menu is limited. Breakfast is limited to Filipino-style choices, so will disappoint if you don’t like that. All-in-all, adequate but a little disappointing – could be better if they improved a few things. The staff were generally helpful and friendly, making my stay pleasant despite the limitations.

Good value but a little far out of town”
As the other reviews say, there is very little around this hotel - even the mall is a good 15 min walk along the roadside. But the hotel itself is good - rooms are a good size with big beds and modern bathrooms. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and arranged a car to take us around the island for a good price. The cafe downstairs does standard food which is ok, but if you wanted something better you would need to take a tricycle into town. Overall it was good value for money in Tagbilaran.

Helpful Staff and Nice Coffee Shop”
Two things I love at Panda Tea House: (1) the very accommodating staff, esp Rachel, who would immediately assist us on our needs; (2) they have a cute coffee shop where you can unwind or relax. We got the room for a discounted price (thanks to Agoda!). It is quite outdated and dusty. My husband's allergic rhinitis was triggered because of the dusty floor and cabinets. There were also nuts and bolts at the drawer, in which, I guess the housekeeper failed to check or clean as well. Water flow at the bathroom is also poor. Maybe, because the room is located at the 3rd floor.

Surprisingly good”
Really enjoyed this hotel. The restaurant downstairs is good and convenient. The hotel picked us up and dropped us off at the harbour for free so no dealing with the hassle of taxis. They helped us organise motorbikes. Nice modern room and friendly lovely staff. Location is good if u have transport. Close to Corella tarsier sanctuary and an easy drive to Alona Beach (30 mins on a scooter). We also scootered to chocolate hills and back one afternoon.

Excellant”
I highly recommend this place. I made a mess of my booking, purely me to blame it was the sort of mistake that I could have been penalised for. The staff could not have been more helpful sorting out my error. The rooms are very nice, clean and bright. The rooms at the front do get some stret noise however. Overall a great place to stay, I would say the restaurant is not great though. As a cafe it is very good but I did not think the meals were anything more than average.

Good Stay”
We stayed here with my family and my grandson 9 yr old, the Pro's - the hotel has a "cozy family ambiance". We stayed in their 2 standard room, me and my husband in 1 room and my daughter and her son in the 2nd room. Room was big enough and clean. It's value for money and has a relaxed atmosphere that we liked. The Con's, they didn't have a chair on our room and towels, but it was immediately attended to by their staff. The blankets were thin not like the comforter type. Overall, customer service is good and that's a plus factor for me.

Value for Money”
Place is cozy and simple. The restaurant and The Library Cafe serve good food. The room is good however be careful of the slippery tiles in the bathroom. Despite having hot and cold showers, they do not have those silicone anti-slip mats inside the bathroom. 2 things we did not like: #1) They do have a a bathroom rug outside the BR but it old and dirty. You cant wipe your feet with it. #2) we had 2 night stay and on the first night, the aircon at room 2 (second floor) was working and cold, the following day, it was not working anymore. Good thing the receptionist was able to transfer us to room 8 (third floor) with a more powerful aircon. Jeck-jeck, the receptionist is friendly. Richard, the van driver, is also helpful
