Nice location near alone beach, and can rent bike to go around Bohol island. One night we mistaken to join the manager's meeting, and then they invited us together to eat dinner for free, Very value experience about this island, we will come back here.

Beware 4 cockroaches came out from the sink ”
Was not able to swim in the beach, 2 days we stayed it was low tide at least they have a very nice pool

Good place at quiet beach”
We liked our stay here. We rented a bike via de hotel and also booked the island hopping trip here. They arranged transportation from there directly to Oslob. Breakfast was OK, wifi was good. Would come back here if we would stay in Panglao.

Clean rooms with good space and a nice quiet location”
Quieter location away from alona beach. But a very nice beach nearby with good dive centers and nice views. Everything is close and easy to get too. Rooms were clean. No wifi in the room but was easy to get at the restaurant and the hotel lobby.

The best way to escape the busy city and crowded beaches..”
The place is a little bit far from alona but it has its own beach , danao. Plus it has its pool where u can also dive in. It is deep. The restaurant serves delicious meals. I like the Bam-I as well as Bangus. Very yum! You can find instagramable sceneries here..

The Beach is unswimmable”
The facilities are good and the staff even gave us a free room upgrade since we were travelling with my 2 year old kid, and gave us a room with bigger bed. the only downside was the beach.. the water level is always low and unswimmable. Even if it's already high tide the folks there don't recommend swimming there. There are also a lot of boat anchored on the beach.

I liked that it was pretty relaxing and it had a beach front that is a lot quieter than the popular beaches in Alona. I wish the windows had screens to protect us from the mosquitoes. We would have loved to open the windows and felt the ocean breeze.

A mixed bag”
Good: - Overall, the garden layout is quite nice (if a bit crammed with rooms surrounding the pool) - Standard rooms are more or less directly on the beach - Beach chairs - Rental motorbike was good (all the lights worked!) Not so good: - Place is right below the air corridor of the nearby airport, starting aircrafts flight very low (and noisy) above from early morning - No wifi in the rooms (and also no mobile signal, at least with Globe - there is working wifi at the pool though) - No fully blow restaurant (closes at 2pm and was under construction) - for reasonable food options it is more or less necessary to go to Alona beach, which requires a motorbike or tricycle ride - The beach is not that nice (every inch developed or under development, many many boats, a bit dirty, no swimming during low tide), but except for the airport noise, at least it is quite.

Child-friendly, nice pool! ”
We enjoyed our stay here especially the kids! Their children's pool is a 9/10! However, it would have been perfect if the room we stayed was cleaned and sanitized before we arrived. There were mosquitoes, untidy room,only 1 rug in the room, a bit noisy and old aircon unit. The bathroom also needs improvement. It's obvious that the place wasn't renovated for such a long time. Overall, I am still satisfied since the kids enjoyed the pool very much! I also love the seaview although it's not for swimming.

Too far from most tourist spot”
Water in washroom slowly runs or not running at all. Slow wifi connection. Far from tourist attractions like public beaches and restaurants. Will cost you minimum “150 pesos” for one way transportation. Low tide during day. So no beach swimming. Swimming pool is clean and surrounding is relaxing and beautiful.

Hotel is not good located (from alona beach about 35min to walk). The room was ok, but very easy facilities. We arrived in the evening and wanted to eat something, food was ok, but we waited for like 1 hour, they didn't even have coke and fruits in the morning. Staff was friendly.

Not As Described!!! ”
We arrived and was disappointed. We did not even unpack our bags and left after 1 hour of arriving. Booked another hotel in the Alona beach area. Picture on Agoda is Not as Described. You won't be able to swim on the beach since it seems most of the boats park there. No one.was swimming since the water tide was so far away. I will never go back there. Pros -They have a pool Cons -Far, far, far away from Alona Beach -The beach is not swimmable -Resto closes at 2pm -No WIFI at the room given to us -No outside bar or restaurant alternatives

we had a great time in Panglao, the weather was mostly good, other than a little Typhoon.The staff is what we will remember the best about Tropical Villa's, very helpfull...the nice cook, and specially Ileen, very witty and funny young girl..thanks to make our stay enjoyable...we love it!! the beach isnt soo great but we swim mainly in the swimming pool,you can rent a motorcycle to go to the other beach where there is a "Buzz Cafee Restaurant" great food, not expensive..

Nice place, quiet and simple”
the location is nice, away from hussle of the cities. staff very friendly and accommodating. rooms were clean and cleaned every other day. menu at restaurant/bar was adequate. pool and grounds were nice and clean and well kept. there is a dive shop right beside the villas. the driver we had for tours was very nice and welling to do whatever we wanted to do or where ever we wanted to go. the dolphin watching and island hopping is now one tour. be sure you understand all the cost before leaving for the snorkeling, it was a bit confusing. alona beach is near by with many restaurants and small shops. dive shops here are more expensive so compare the prices. it was a nice relaxing place to be mainly because there was not many people there. if there had been more maybe different. many beautiful sunsets to remember.
