located at District 1 which is close to most of the main tourist spots by walking distance. Breakfast wasn't good as it is provided by a cafe at Ground Floor, not buffet style. A bit expensive for this hotel. You could look for other hotels at cheaper rates nearby this area. This is our most expensive hotel in Ho Chi Minh City without any specialty.

This great hotel is in a great location in Ho Chi Minh city. Our suite was clean, new and beautifully styled. It's a 15 minute walk to the War Remnants museum and 5 minutes to the Rex Hotel and the pedestrian area.

I have a really good stay in Papaya Saigon Hotel. The location is great, it is within walking distance to Nguyen Hue walking street and its surrounding. The room I stayed was awesome just like the pictures. Breakfast is delicious. Highly recommend. Will definitely choose it again next time I visit HCMC.

Simple but comfortable hotel (nice Cafe)”
I am impressed with this simple hotel, with comfortable room. Clean and modern design. The location is very strategy. Few minutes walk to Ben Thanh and the famous landmark, City Hall. 10 min walk to Central Post Office and Notre Dame Cathedral of Saigon. I really like the cafe at the ground floor. Nice coffee and delicious food served. I will back again in my next trip to HCMC.

Clean Room in Good Rate at District 1”
The hotel is in a good location at district 1, which is exactly next to the Ben Thanh market. Famous tourist points are in 15 mins walk, and there are lots of restaurants and cafe nearby the hotel. The front desk lady is very friendly and polite, I am glad to be upgraded with all rooms for my family. We enjoy the spacious room and the room facilities. We will come back to stay in no doubt.

The hotel is just 200m away from ben thanh market, and is also very near to other tourist spots such as saigon square and saigon centre. The hotel room design is modern and clean. The hotel room sound proof is also good. Would definitely visit here again if i go to hcm again.

Only the first night is bad comment coz the hotel is overbooked and transfer me to another awful hotel. return back to Papaya hotel in next day. Great location and within 5 minutes walking distance to Ben Thanh Market and Food street. 5 seconds then you can find the money exchange. Love this hotel and will stay again

Located at the end of Le Thanh Ton Street (towards Vincom and Saigon Centre Takashimaya), very centralized. Relatively new hotel what you see on the photos is what you get. No frills with no other facilities except a small restaurant cum bar at the street level. Breakfast (Western and Local menu) provided is simple yet nice. Circle K convenient store is just a few steps away. Overall Japanese minimalist feel and design hotel. Thumbs up for standing shower very satisfactory water pressure. Return to stay 8/10.

It’s a fairly new hotel with nice, comfortable layout, located conveniently close to everything: Ben Thanh market, Saigon Square, Independent Palace etc... Breakfast is limited though to one hot dish and drink unlike most hotels in Vietnam which offers buffet breakfast.

The lobby was far too small and the breakfast place is not buffet, set menu. The rooms were nice but quite expensive in comparison to other places. Location near Ben Thanh Market and Saigon centre makes it convenient to stay. However the hotel breakfast and facilities are not much for the price. Ideal for location

Double booked”
Hotel had double booked our room. We had booked the hotel 3 mths prior to arriving and we're told only when checking in. We were offered to stay 1 of 5 nights at the hotel and an alternative hotel nearby was arranged for the remaining 4 nights. Staff were generally helpful and apologetic, although earlier notification would've been far better to allow us time to review our options. The alternative hotel was sub-standard (A&EM Signature - no windows and damp, old smell) although told it was better and more expensive (price gap covered by Papaya hotel). Payapa gave us the option of changing but this was inconvient for us and meant we would lose more time trying to arrange accomodation rather than enjoying our holiday. Based on the one night at Papaya hotel, it was new but had an over bearing, newly constructed smell. Hotel was ok for price and location.

We have stayed in many 3 star hotels in Ho Chi Minh over the last 15 yrs and this was one was extremely disappointing. Mainly because the breakfast was just not good enough.. pathetic...the area was central to the market Ben Thanh ,but a one way street and that meant the 3 blocks to Dong Khoi Street meant 1/2 a city taxi trip for people who are unable to walk that distance ..in summing up I would not recommend this hotel...and will be looking elsewhere on our next visit. Value for money not good.

In terms of location and accessibility, this hotel cannot be beat. we stayed in an executive room. it was clean and beautifully furnished. we actually loved our stay here. we could easily go home and take breaks during the day. everything was walking distance. the only downside to our stay was an incident during check-out. i was rushing for an early flight when they told me they needed to check the room. My cab was already waiting when they told me a face towel was missing. To my mind, why would I take your face towel? Told them to check again and again. Eventually, they let me go. This ruined an otherwise pleasant stay in the hotel.
