Incredible People at Hotel Paradis”
Hotel Paradis is located on the best beach in the South Pacific - pink/white soft sand, warm water & we nearly always had the entire beach to ourselves. The bridge is endlessly fascinating with its schools of manta rays, sea turtles & variety of fish visible in the super clear water. The bungalows are spacious, clean & comfortable. But the best part are the people at the Hotel - the women who are at reception, do the cleaning, landscaping, etc are so helpful & friendly. Air Calin canceled our return flight with almost no notice & the women at reception were invaluable in helping sort out the mess. We spent a week & wish it had been a month!

Exceptional”
Lovely resort with comfortable and clean rooms. Spacious bathroom with separate bath and shower. Deck outside each villa, and a stone’s throw from the beach. There were limited food options at the time we were there.

Great location for beach ”
Can’t wait to come back to this destination. The beach is amazing. Drinks and restaurant food was decent. This is the only hotel there so you are stuck for choice. Pool was closed whole time which was annoying. The rooms are dated, hard mattress and no fly screens. Something also falls from the ceiling like a brown powder. Bathroom has wrong size toilet seats fitted which felt unsanitary. Toilet also needed maintenance and made a noise the whole time and flushing didn’t always work. Good shower and patio. Service is very slow. House keeping didn’t come two out of the three days and we had to call for them.

Accommodation right on beach but needs upgrading for the price. Food expensive. Very helpful staff that can arrange tours etc. recommend hiring car before you get there. The hotel can arrange.

Bad service, overpriced”
The only reason to come here is for the location. The staff are rude ,incompetent and don't like there jobs. We waited half hour at the bar on my birthday for a staff member to appear. Food is not good . Go to local restaurant down the beach. Dirty furniture. Extremely overpriced

Amazing holiday for young family”
We traveled with very young children and while the weather was very wet it was still the perfect location. Very shallow water and the most stunning beach close to the island's main attraction (bridge) where you can spot lots of sea life. Staff was very friendly and understanding and flexible with children. Breakfast was perfect with such a beautiful view onto the lagoon. Rooms are very spacious, clean and nicely furnished and can be arranged flexibly as a two or three bedroom. The hotel is closely located and owned by nearby tribe and offers great opportunities to learn about island culture.

The hotel is as good as you could expect for being located in such a remote location . The operators and staff are very friendly and accommodating. We don't speak any French and the staff speak varying levels of English, still we had no issues communicating. We stayed in a beachfront bungalow. Very happy with the accommodation. Only a few meters from the beautiful lagoon. Truly stunning location, good as any if not better than similar tropical/atoll places in the world. Unspoilt paradise would be a good way to describe this place. Whilst the hotel offers transfers and tours your better off hiring a car which you can do for cheap and driving the island yourself. We found beaches all over the place. Best part is that unlike any other similar destination ie. Tahiti, Maldives etc. You share the place with yourself. Apart from locals you'll be lucky if you see more than a handful of visitors the whole time. Real hidden gem, will definitely go back when we need our tropical fix again.

I have so much praise for this resort. My wife and I love just lazing around in the resort. WiFi coverage is great, room facilities is excellent, staff service are excellent compared to other islands we went. We really wish we had more days there. We will definitely stay there again.

Very beautiful location, loved Ouvea because there are no cruise ships that go here , not very touristy. Local people are beautiful & want to share & tell you all about their beautiful island. Saw lots of turtles and manta rays. This place has heart and soul.

Great location at a magic beach”
The bungalows are spacious and prime position at a very beautiful beach. Clean hotel and nice staff. Breakfast lacking things, like black tea one morning and paper towels as serviettes. I know, it is remote location but both items available in any local shop.

The hotel is beautiful and the view is paradise. Hotel staff were so helpful especially as we didn't speak much French. Very comfortable, food was delicious. Would very much love to go back!
