Japanese feel - great place”

Good place, with a catch...”
You have to get used to: 1. The smell of cigar in the room and hallways 2. Japanese style public bath (being naked with others) which is scheduled based on gender If you are non smoker, ask for a room with 2 windows, you will want to open it to get rid of the cigar smell

Smelly Old Hotel”
Besides the location is great, too sad the hotel very old and yet the wet smell very very strong from the lobby to the lift, and in the room as well. Hopefully they'll improve in the future.

Get what you pay for”
It's a cheap place to stay, so if you just need a bed for the night then it's good. Everything else isn't great, but the gentleman working on the front desk was friendly. If you don't smoke be sure to specify you want a non-smoking room.

you get what you pay”
there is only one public bathroom which has different time for each gender(17:30-21:00 for male 21:00-22:00 for women).the lobby has bad smell of cigarette. The reception cannot well communicate in English. The room without window has musty mell due to poor ventilation. Wifi didn't work properly. In the room, there are electric fan, yukata, TV. there is elevator, refrigerator and microwave in the lobby.

Above average”
if you stay only for one night, it is good enough except the shower room because it is shared for male and female

Pretty run down”
My room had no heating except for a tiny electric foot warmer. Good thing I had a few jackets to keep warm in the freezing winter. Honestly, the location was the only decent thing about this place. It's close to the subway line but in a sketchy part of town. Staff was friendly but had poor English.

Won’t stay again”
The room looks worn out and smells like a toilet because they put a perfume with strong lemon fragrance in it, which I had to remove. The shared bath has a fixed hours and not so flexible. Location was decent, close to metro and JR train station.

No private showers”
Walls are thin and let in lots of noise, rooms are cold with no heating except a small foot warmer, showers are on the first floor in a large room with no curtains so you have to be naked in front of others, rooms reek of cigarette smoke, check out is an extremely early 9:30, there were no towels in the rooms and they had to be requested, pillows were very hard, everything is extremely dated. On the plus side, it is right next to a subway station which is convenient for getting around, plus it has vending machines, restaurants, convenience stores and a bar near by. Overall, would not recommend to anyone except Japanese males who are used to this sort of place.

Cheap =/= value for money”
Park in is really inexpensive, you get a nice looking 3 tatami room (in need of a new coat of paint) with a locking door for less than the price of a bunk bed or pod in a near by hotel. However, the walls are paper thin, the air con doesn’t work, there’s no daily cleaning, there’s only one mixed gender wash room and the toilets always seem to have just been used by that one person with no personal hygiene... If your a frequenter of hostels this is a good hotel for you, if not pay a bit more for one with a private toilet and two washrooms

Bed Bugs!”
Apart from being covered in swelling bed bug bites after one night stay, the place is a quaint traditional style. Simple single room with matted floor and futon bed, community bath room (schedule for male/female use), toilets & kettle on floor. Front desk man is effecient at work but much for talking Great location check out the old-style coffee house using glass beakers on corner near metro!

Extremely Racist Staff!”
I have been visiting this area for years, so I know most of the hotel owners and managers. This hotel has always been the worst hotel. Why? Because of the little racist man that works there. Every time I come to Osaka tourists always tell me their bad experiences with this little kimoi man. Even though they have reservations for two or three weeks they cancel after one night or sometimes 5 minutes. When the owner is around his personality is completely different. So the owner never realized that for years he has been destroying his hotel and fired him. So what should you do? There are two choices. The first is to shame the little racist man so much that the owner has to realize and fire him. Put his picture on the website and write bad reviews about him. The second is just to completely stay away from the hotel and let it go out of business. Osaka is a great city! Tourists should never have to deal with a little kumoi racist man like this when they come here!

Awful and disrespectful”
The place is very dirty and the water doesn't run hot. The cleaning lady is very xenophobic and insults you in Japanese while smiling at you. The owner discriminates you based on your country and will lie to your face about rooms. I booked a room online and he lie straight to my face and said there where no rooms as I walked and in then after I went to my then another foreigner came in and asked if there rooms and he said yes. You should just go to hotel Toyo across the street. Just one dollar more and better quality.

Terrible Service”
The service is the worst. The wireless (WIFI) service is terrible also. It's doesn't work. The staff is very lazy and will treat you badly. These people are not the best. They will insult you right after you hand them the money. Studied Japanese 8 years.

Dirty”
The rooms are very dirty and most supplies are broken and the staff will try to blame you for it because the hotel barley have enough to remain open. Go across the street to Toyo. Avoid the drama filled Park Inn.
