We have stayed several times at this hotel because it is normally good value for money. However, because of rescheduling for an event in the city we had to reorgainse our stay by a week and it would appear every hotels prices shot up by 50%.... The hotel location is good for visiting the city and the surrounding area. Rooms are clean and comfortable, with a safe in your room. Just wish more hotels in the UK would do the same.

Great hotel , friendly and helpful staff , super clean , perfect location in the centre of Nottingham but very quiet at the same time , The only slight niggle was that in our room the curtain didn’t quite cover the window right to the edge so as soon as the sun came out it was blinding .. although this certainly wouldn’t stop me staying again

Had a great stay! The room was spacious and the bed was really big! Location great, staff all really helpful and friendly. Parking was a little tight in the hotel car park but luckily it wasn't busy when we stayed. Breakfast was great, hot breakfast cooked to order and continental selection was fab too. Would definitely recommend staying here :-)

Fried or poached eggs.bathroom needed modernised and nearly slipped getting out the tub.room was nice bed was comfortable. Will be back next year hopefully the bath tub at least has a non slip mat .and it's the same lovely staff

Lovely hotel. Really comfy bed with perfect duvet and bedding. Tasty freshly cooked breakfast and a plethera of different choices! Staff friendly and helpful. Constructive criticism. I would prefer table lamps as spotlights above the bed are way too harsh. Housekeeping very slow. It took 3hrs to get a replacement hairdryer

Friendly Staff”
We stayed in Park Royal 19 September-30 September 2019, all staff is very helpfull and friendly. Every time, infuse water served at the lobby and tea and coffee served every morning. One thing they should to change is breakfast buffet menu, no change since we check in and check out.

Great hotel in the Centre of Nottingham”
Location of the hotel is excellent, within easy reach of shops, station and restaurants. The only negative was the height of the bath, which was too high. A small footstool for easier access would have been ideal.

Not bad for Tier 2 COVID venue”
Enjoyed my stay. My only gripe would be allowing guests to eat their breakfast in the lobby when breakfast was supposed to be take away to enable guests to avoid excessive COVID risk. If you are going to allow people to eat in the Lobby then why not have distanced places to eat? Everyhthing else was good and the COVID measures worked well.

You have changed the arrangement of breakfast, those metal things that hold the food are defo not suitable, you push the lid back which goes under the base & catches the plate & serving spoon, just not practical. When I was getting my breakfast on sat morning, I pointed out to a female member of staff that there where no sausage or hash browns left, she replied it will be 5/10 mins till s/more, I said my breakfast will go cold by then, she just shrugged her shoulders & walked off. Breakfast was more practical , with the old hot plate system. The people we brought will us where not impressed with breakfast If we stopped again, we would have breakfast else where more organised. The staff kept dropping thing on the floor, which is not very relaxing when eating yr breakfast .

Best of a difficult time made.”
The hotel was very central so access to all anenities was perfect. We were there to celebrate a birthday so could not provide a bottle of champagne on ice due to the time needed to leave the room in isolation. The room was large and quiet even though it was the weekend. Needed to phone reception on one occasion but information provided did not
