Great place for an overnight layover”
We stayed here for one night during an overnight layover. It's located very close to the airport and was convenient. The staff were very helpful and kind, the room was clean and cozy, and we felt safe/comfortable at all times. The included breakfast was good and the hotel assisted with arranging a taxi to take us back to the airport the next morning for our flight. We would recommend Pato Canales if you have an overnight layover in El Salvador.

Great Place for Extra Long Layover”
Guests must be aware that SAL Immigration & Customs will require a document that must be issued to you and those traveling with you by the airline, in order to leave SAL airport. One must go through those two. You’ll save a lot of time speaking with your airline’s customer service at the time of check-in to SAL. Safe and happy travels!

I had an early flight and had to be at the airport by 3AM. This hotel is about a mile down the road, which is great. Staff is super friendly and food at the restaurant was good!
