This was a very clean and comfy hostal, with extremely friendly staff! The hostal is very close to shopping, and you'll find most of the big stores nearby. There were housekeeping everyday, and we got new towels almost everyday. We would stay here again.

Strategic location to city sights”
I stayed for 3 nights in room 2A with a private bathroom next door. The window overlooks at the street which is nice but also quite noisy sometimes. It is within walking distance to Guadalquivir River which marks Triana district. And just 1 minute walk to Maeztdanza (flamenco dance school). The bathroom is new & clean. It is small & difficult to manouver, but as expected. The challenge is to carry lugages up/down the stairs. I was provided with 4 keys for the gate, door, bedroom & bathroom. I didnt know there was airport pick up service as stated in the site. On the way to my next destination, the reception lady who helped ordering a taxi, didn’t mention it as well. Overall it is value for money.

Really went above out expectations. The location was fantastic near the cafes at Plaza Armas and it takes about 6-7minutes on foot to get to the monumental zone. The rooms were great and have a cleaning service included every morning. Staff at the reception welcomed us and were at our disposal the whole time. Really a great experience and if we get to Seville again we will be staying here for sure!

We booked an en-suite room and initially were given a room on the ground floor, next to reception and facing the street. It is really noisy at night, we heard cars passing by and other tourists consulting with reception staff about late flamenco shows or something. We asked for the alternative and next day moved to the room on the 3rd floor with private external bathroom - felt much better, though still had noise from the street; the shower in the bathroom was really small, you are basically wrapped in curtain ;) They have a few en-suite rooms facing the inner yard, those are probably ok, but it looks that they are triple or family ones. The location is good, not quite central but within walking distance to most sights. In our case (looking for some budget place during Feria) there were no alternatives, but I would look for something else on less busy days.

WiFi did not work as described, the air conditioner would not turn on and the reception did not proceed to inform us on where to pay for its use or how to use it. Additionally, the scent in the room and bathroom was slightly unbearable and made us dread going back there in the evening. Someone also left a dead cockroach at the frontdesk. The person in charge never showed up and only responded on WhatsApp sparingly - even after we changed the language of our conversation to Spanish, believing that A language barrier was at fault. The room does not have it's own bathroom, you have to step out. The stairs is so narrow so hard to to get up and down. They should have lifts so not to carry your luggage going up and down.

Although price reasonable wouldn’t stay again , even considered moving but too tired. Mixed up our rooms. There wasn’t even a mug to make a cup of tea but there was two broken plastic plates! We didn’t even use the shower because of the state of it.

Room is small and smelly. The minute you enter the living room which is the first place you enter, it is so smelly. Not worth the money at all.

A real nightmare ”
Our book was changed last minute by another hostel to this one. Horrible rooms, dirty, horrible bathroom and a terrible service and noisy during the whole night with other guests. I would not repeat this even for free. The only good part was the location.

pension giraldilla is an ideal location for sightseeing Seville. It is a small comfortable hotel with 24 hour reception and lovely friendly and helpful staff. The location is fantastic. The bed was comfortable and everything was very clean Although they do not supply breakfast, you can buy hot drinks from a vending machine in reception. I would definitely recommend it for a long weekend trip.
