Very good breakfast using excellent local ingredients. Location ideal for doming som work in Thurso and looking at surrounding countryside

Great place as we arrived late and Liz came out and greeted us and instantly made us feel warm and very welcoming.Liz is very cheerful person.Once inside Liz show us the room and explained everything and also had fresh milk for the tea and coffee. Liz is very helpful if you have any queries regarding the area. The bonus is the wonderful breakfast which was made freshly to order,only about 10minute waiting. The property has all the things required for a excellent stay whether is a short or long stay. Highly recommended and would be returning in the near future if I am passing by or touring the Highlands again I will stop for now as too much would be over the top and feel it's not real feedback. You much try and see for yourself. Thank you Liz for a wonderful stay.

I really enjoyed my stay. The rooms very clean, comfortable and well stocked with toiletries (most ive seen in any hotel). I slept well in the quiet location and all staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. The breakfast was simply delicious. I highly recommend staying here and hope to do so again in the future.

I have no negatives to share, everything was exceptional and great value for money.

A good size bedroom with seating and space. Quiet and relaxing. Comfy bed and modern ensuite with very good water pressure in the shower. Engaging and very friendly staff. An enjoyable breakfast. Use of local produce. Evident investment in the business and a very professional approach to safety and safety management.

The location was perfect for us, as we were on our way to Orkney. The manager of the hotel went out of her way to accommodate us and make us feel welcome when we were stranded in Thurso as the ferry was cancelled due to gales.

From the minute we got there, we were made to feel welcome, really nice lady, excellent room and a good shower. good breakfast in the morning with plenty of options. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend (or go back!)

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We very much enjoyed meeting Liz. The house itself is beautiful, and the location and parking was very convenient. There was a booklet in the room that was filled with information about the history of the house, the local area, routes to take walks around the area, and much more. The room was surprisingly quiet, even with a main road not far away. The breakfast was very good, and cooked to order.

The owner of the hotel is a kind and enthusiastic old lady and you can feel her warmth from the conversation. The room was clean and the owner had prepared a welcome snack which was delicious!

The only downside is that the heating stops in the middle of the night, which can make it a bit cold in winter.

Friendly and helpful host; Comfortable room

After a trip of many hours by bus from London through Scotland, to discover the hotel and its fantastic owner was a treat by itself. She was so friendly, helpful and funny that it will definitely be the place we would recommend in Thurso to sleep in. Friends of environment and sustainable development be welcome, as there is a whole guide in the rooms on how the place is trying to keep the world a better place, as well as advice on what to discover around you.

We didn't stay long enough!

Liz, the proprietor, is a breath of fresh air. She goes the extra mile to ensure that your stay is as comfortable as possible, has lots of local information to share and cooks a wonderful breakfast.

Everything was unbelievable, probably the best B& B I've stayed in , really felt like home from home, Continental breakfast was awesome , highly recommend .
