Exceptional”
Went to Siargao for sightseeing and food trip. Not really a surfer couple. Location: - Along the Highway - Near the best restaurants and bars - Has a spa adjacent to the hotel Staff: - Very accommodating - Wear the best smiles - Recommends the best things to do in the Island Accommodation: - We got the Villa type of room which is big for the both of us and it was very clean - Great value for money Overall, we had a great time and would definitely be back to Pesangan Surfcamp to explore more of Siargao!

Well located hotel in the heart of General Luna, close to shops and restaurants. Friendly staff always ready to help you. The bedroom is big, with comfy mattress and basic bathroom (toilet without sest but not big deal), not worse than other ones in Philippines. Great aircon but a little noisy. Great own private balcony with outside couch and hammock.

The moment we arrived, we felt like we were so at home already! Ate Lisa, the resort staff, was so helpful with our entire stay, and was super accommodating. And when were hanging out by the veranda, our friendly neighbors invited us to join their little group right away! The nice shower head with the HOT SHOWER was definitely a plus. My favorite was the hammock and the chill out area outside. WiFi was relatively fast as well, since they have the routers spread out in the property. At one point there was a frog in the bathroom and then 2 cockroaches but we just informed the staff and were able to get rid of it right away. Would definitely recommend this place! The location is right in the center of General Luna, too. Accessible to the nice bars and restaurants like Kermit, Harana, Bravo's, etc. Will come back to this place for sure! :)

Good place to stay! ”
The place was worth for its price. The room was big but there's no TV (HOWEVER, who needs one if you're in Siargao😊). It has a veranda and a hammock for your siesta. The location is near the food establishments and 10-15mins away from Cloud 9. The staff were also friendly and helpful. They even hook us up with great deals on tour, surfing lesson and motorcycle rent.

Perfect home while in Siargao”
The perfect place to stay for your Siargao vacation. The place is safe and secured and located along the main street of General Luna. Very accessible! Staff are very nice and assists in queries for surf lessons & island hopping. They also help arrange for your van in going to the airport.

I really enjoyed my stay with pesangan surfcamp. A couple recommendation, the room floor could be tiled or something(lotsof stains on bare cement), add a table and chairs and some pictures around the room. Clean or paint the fan. This would make the room more appealing and homely. Just recommendations. Fantastic staff, thanks for looking after us.

Best location to stay in Gen. Luna!”
Value for money-it’s cheap compared to other concrete rooms with aircon in Gen. Luna. The price is right coz the room was very spacious. Best location-it’s along Tourism Road where you can find restaurants and bars. It’s just a walk away from La Santa, Barrel, Bravo, La Carinderia and etc.

Pros: Staff, friendly, they even helped me with my itinerary and took care of my transpo needs. Location, close to restos and bars, a few minutes walk to the beach. Cons: None 1 star for facilities as they have none (sorry, need to click to submit review). Don’t need one imo as you spend most of your day outside the hotel. Thank you Lisa, Charmie and Russel. I’ll stay again in Pesangan when I come back.

This is not a surf camp ”
This is just a regular guesthouse, not a surf camp, so don’t explain board rental and organized surf classes. Not a great value for money - you can find much nicer options for this price in general Luna. Located super central though, amazing spa just on the corner. Room has never been cleaned during 5 nights stay, shower was very weak and there was a whole colony of ants living in the room. WiFi is poor but it’s everywhere in Siargao so not their Fault. One light bulb was never turning off during the night. What I disliked most, is that windows dIdnt lock and very easily opened from the outside. Break ins DO happen in siargao and basic security is important. I didn’t feel safe there and always worried about my stuff as basically everyone can get into the room from the street.

Great Location! ”
Very close to the best restos in siargao! Try barrel bar, kermit and crepes! Or if you're on a budget, there's also plenty of carinderias to choose from. It's walking distance to the beach and cloud 9 is just a P20 tricycle ride away! The room itself is nothing special but i like that it has a hot shower and a balcony where we lazed around after a tiring day of exploring. It's one of the cheapest accommodation in the area so we didn't really expect much anyway. The staff were also very helpful in giving information and finding an island hopping package for us. All in all, our stay was very pleasant here!

Good Location in Siargao”
The room was big for 2 people. We like that the room had a balcony and hammock that we can use, we were able to entertain new found friends on our last night on the island. There were open cabinets however, they should have built a more appropriate one for storing our stuff-bags etc. Good thing there's an area in the balcony where you can hang wet clothes and towels. Overall it was a good place because the beach is just nearby, and there's a kitchen and dining/common area.

Budget Hotel close to Gen Luna”
We had a nice stay here for 5 nights. The rooms are quite large and air conditioned but could do with a few more pieces of furniture like a another table and chairs. The location while not right on the beach was close to restaurants and shopping. Tricycles are easy and cheap to catch to Gen Luna or to Cloud 9. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Awesome Hostel!! ”
First we wanted to stay 4 nights. We booked after 2 days for 3 days longer. The women's at the reception are so great so can you really enjoy your time on the Island. The room ist very clean and the feeling there is great.. I would recommend this hostel!

The place was very quiet which i really like. The staff were very accommodating, they even helped me find a nice motor bike to go around the island. The kitchen is open for people to cook and to meet other people at the same time. If I have the chance to go back, I'd definitely book again here! :D

Regretted the stay”
We were put in a different room than advertised, which didn't have a hammock area, and is closer to the street, right beside some very loud and bassy bars at night, and next to some very jarring construction during the day. So it wasn't a place to hang out. However, the staff were kind, the room was spacious, and it's located central on the General Luna strip. Just wasn't what we paid for. Everyone else seemed to luck out.
