good location, elevator carpet smells stink need to change or disinfect, safe not working . Breakfast basic. Nowhere else in Thai Binh... A little improvements think its okay for short stay.

The location is great. It is located in the city center of Thai binh and next to Vincom center(shopping mall with movie theater). Also it is close to the bus terminal. The hotel itself is 3-4star-like and it will cost you $30-40/night including breakfast.

To Whom It May Concern: My reviews are listed as following: 1) STAFF: When I checked in this "PETRO THAI BINH" hotel, there is a female hotel attendant requested me to present my US "passport"; she took my passport, photocopied, and returned it professionally. But suddenly the porter whom carried my luggage to this check in counter demanded me to present my passport for him to check; he claimed that my US passport may be expired, he kept insisting me to present my US passport to him. This action to a customer is totally unprofessional !!! I am an US citizen and carrying a legal US document for travelling in VN soil and was interrogated by a labor worker (a porter) whom is non-English speaking & non-reading and not responsible for checking my document. This action is totally unprofessional and rude. It is a kind of looking down the VN authority whom is unable to screen the foreign customer's document when they entry into VN territory ! ? 2) CLEANLINESS: This hotel is very smelly, the room has smell of molding, which caused the breath problem for customer as sneezing and headache. This hotel needs to perform the process of exhaling treatment to get rid of molding issue. I would like "AGODA" to remove this hotel from your list of recommended hotel for this very "RUDE" action. I am waiting to hear your response. Sincerely.

you know viet dong is very difficult to me, too big. normally from haihong airport to prtro hotel is about 800,000 VD. but i pay too money (10 times=8000,000 VD) to the taxi driver. the driver did not tell me... when i realized its too late.. the driver gone, but the reservation manager help me to take back the money even very late at night. I do very thanks this hotel because all staff i met is very nice. the room is clean and very big~ like 5 star, but receiption english is not good, we have to make call and translate..

New business hotel in Thai Binh ”
The hotel is just resently opened so all is still proper - and working. Although it is Vietnamese owned and has certainly a Asian touch it is pretty modern and will suit the needs of Western business man as well. When you don't want to bother yourself with travelling from Thai Binh to Hanoi and back this might be your ownly and best choice. No food was available for breakfast, we had no diner at this place so cannot comment on that. From the whole menu only an egg was evailable with tee (no coffee).

Aging two star hotel ”
Read all the comments here so knew what to expect the only part of the hotel that is well maintained is the lobby. Sheets were clean but stained. Some funky smell but opened the window. Bathroom looked 20 years old. Fridge not plugged in only room for TV and receiver. The razor was the only surprise it was good quality. Saw mostly business guests for local companies. Dream hotel across the way just opened few months ago think it might be a better place to stay. Breakfast was bland but not as dead scary as I had read about. Probably 30 guests out of 190 rooms.

My cousin living near hotel, i just stay 1 night for visit my cousins. The staff not professional and they provide huge lobby but have nothing (only sofa ) The TV not working and air-con doesn’t work well : i try to call receptionist for fix that but they send some staff come without uniforms and after checked TV work, AC still like fan . Facility in room too old : they must be renovates . At night time i try to borrow bowls from fo staff : they cultivated my request because of restaurant closed. They are one of biggest hotel in towns: if they want to be professional: have to change more!

Friendly staff, comfortable room. Breakfast was vast and some of the eggs and breakfast Pho were very good but other dishes on the buffet were cold. Beautiful open lobby - good for staying with a group.

First 4 Stars hotel in ThaiBinh but poor service”
I booked Superior double room for 2 nights via Agoda, I extend for more one night in similar room but I have to pay more 40% of booking via Agoda. I has estimated that there are not more than 10 occupied room per day during I stay here.

Every year I get a smoke room with as in the astray and the say non smoking unbelievable. Hotel should be updated on breakfast to more continantal breakfast and the dirty chairs in the breakfast area should be replaced
