Lovely stay at quiet and comfortable Inn”
We stayed at the Phaya Inn one night for a short stay in Lamphun. The inn was a short( 1 km) walk from the major temple in town and maybe .5 km from town itself. The surroundings were very quiet and tranquil. Our room was large, extremely clean and very comfortable. Many amenities for the amazing low price. A balcony with seating, large comfortable bath, etc. The lobby area was lovely with seating and open walls to view the grounds. Breakfast was included and was either eggs and toast or a Thai rice soup. The only disappointment was no coffee- only Nescafe or tea. Considering the very reasonable price and fact that most of the clientele was Asian this is understandable. The owner, Kit, spent years in the states and speaks perfect English. She was very warm, helpful and even gave us a ride to town to catch a van to Chiang Mai. She arranged the van for us at the stop too as our Thai was rudimentary. This place was a charmer.

Fantastic place for a quiet getaway”
I had a great time in Lamphun. The Phaya Inn made for a very nice spot to get away from the tourist attractions, relax and simply unwind. It is a very nice and comfortable hotel, especially for this price point! I would gladly stay there again on my next visit to Lamphun!

Nice to be back again”
Great, and we have used this hotel before. Greeted on arrival, checked in quickly and off to our room with the minimum of fuss. We decided to eat in the main area of Lamphun and the staff were quick to give recommendations as to which of the available restaurants may suit us. Next morning we enjoyed breakfast before departing for home, thank you to the staff for making our stay a pleasant one.

Warm and cozy, like home.”
The stay was like being home, the staff were great people, friendly and helpful, always keen to share what you can do and where you can go around Lamphun and Chiangmai. The room was very clean and well kept. Truly a family run business who made it a point to make you feel at home. Highly recommended if you are in the area, especially if you enjoy a bit of quiet and to be away from the bright city lights.

Great option in Lamphun”
There's not too many options in Lamphun, most are small generic guest houses. This is a simple but well run, clean, and modern. Rooms had a/c, fridge, nice bathroom. Not huge or swanky, but definitely better than what I've seen around the area. Will go back for sure.

peaceful and friendly”
it was my first time staying at this place and i promised myself that i will stay there again the next time i visit lamphun. the place is located near the town centre, which is very convenient. the room and the place in general was very clean and the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. it was as though staying at a friend's place. though the place has no lift (elevator) but that's not a major problem.

Amazing!!!”
We spent two nights at Phaya Inn and loved it! The staff are incredibly kind and helpful- we had a very unpleasant incident with a taxi driver who didn't speak English and without the owner's help it definitely would've ended far worse. The rooms are clean and spacious, there's a lovely lounge/ breakfast area and the temples are all short bike ride away. Breakfast was good and freshly prepared and they'll provide you with snacks all day. We loved it!

Perfect”
We couldn’t have had a better time staying at Phaya Inn. The rooms are beautiful, great showers, good aircon and a big comfy bed. We were given bicycles for free to get around the town as well as told the best places to visit. Tasty breakfast in the morning and even dropped to the train station by the owner! Thanks so much for looking after us so nicely. Would definitely stay again.

Old style hotel. Super spacious and clean. A bit out of town but Lamphun is a small town. You can explore it on foot.

Nice hotel in very nice town”
We had a nice stay here. The staff was friendly and the room clean. The hotel has no restaurant though and not too many near. The hotel does provide a bicycle but own transportation is recommended. Lamphun is a fantastic nice and laid back place, but quite spacious.

Rather bland”
Rather nondescript. Small Inn where you have to help yourself. Again poor maintenance is my main complaint. The door lock was spoilt and had to kick open the door which was jammed. The surrounding area is dowdy and is uninteresting. As a whole Lamphun is a rather small town and does not offer much that is interesting except for a few temples of historic interest only.

Pleasant stay, felt like home”
The hotel is very quiet, very clean, with plenty of parking spaces. It's not too far from city center and main attractions. The price is reasonable. Will recommend this place to other friends visiting Lumphun.

Clean room with friendly staff”
Room is ok, clean for its reasonable price. Staff is so friendly and helpful. Although hotel didn't provide breakfast but it gave you free coffee and snacks so not bad for the price we paid. Hotel is not far from centre of town and other tourist's attractions i.e. Wat Phatharthiripoonchai, etc.

lovely rooms, very good value for money given the standard of finish to the rooms. the owner was welcoming and provided us with a map and local information. although the guest house doesn't offer breakfast, we were offered tea/coffee and snacks in the morning. the town itself is lovely if a bit small.

Great place fumm of comforts ”
The place is even nicer than the pics in here. Great decoration, tastefully done. The guy at the reception was extra kind he even dropped me at the minibus station talking to arrange my van to chiang mai - very sweet and nice guy speaking fluent English. They provide free bicycles and the rooms are new and immaculate. Also many tips on where to eat while in town.
