Not recommended for family with young kids”
Location is far from the beach. Need to ride a tricycle cost 100 pesos for 5 minutes ride. Motorcycle rental is so pricey, 700 pesos for 24 hours but gas is not provided. 😩 Kitchen utensils are old and dirty, asked for a clean kettle but they did not provide. Not enough plates, spoon, fork & cups for the number of guests. Shower with hot & cold not properly working, might burn your skin. Plenty of bugs, worms & insects. I asked to clean it properly before we checked in, told me they did it but when we arrived it’s not clean enough 😒 Doors inside doesn’t have lock, so precaution for young children. They even have charge for guests coming over though not staying/ sleeping overnight and cost 250 per head for 3 hours only. They didn’t even greet us when we arrived, feels like they don’t value their guests well so not coming back to this accommodation ever again.

Maintenance”
Had an uncomfortable stay due to aircon not working during the first nite. On the 3rd day the water connection to the toilet burst at 3am caused flooding in the bathroom and unable to use the toilet till following day. Had an sleepless nite because we are cleaning and deflooding the bathroom area. The facility staff don't collect the trash daily causing crawling insect noted. The shower room must be provided with shower curtain to prevent the splash of water while bathing which will result to making the floor wet. It is high risk for slip or fall accident. Safety first is the priority and comfort of the guests.

Disappointed ”
The place is as seen in the photos. HOWEVER, here’s some of my experience which makes it disappointing: 1. There’s too much chlorine in the pool 2. The bathroom doesn’t smell good. I think there’s a problem in their septic tank. 3. There’s maggot and cockroaches coming from the drainage of the shower. 4. The most disgusting is that there’s one time when I flush the toilet, some liquid and poo come out in the shower drainage.

The Best Villa”
Pineale staffs really make my stay very comfortable, and they are really welcoming. As a foreigners , they support me and my wife all the time when i need assistance. The villa is clean and quiet too! Not to forget the view from the villa is great!!! The villa is accessible to many restaurants and marts, just 5-10mins away from the resort. Some suggestions for Pineale Resort to consider: 1) Instant Coffee/Tea packs 2) Table Cloth for wiping 3) Disposable Slippers for moving around the villa 4) Bicycles for transportation out of the resort

pros: the villa is spacious. the pool is exclusive. the staff are accommodating and willing to assist us. cons: there is a stinky smell in one of the rooms. it must have come underneath. there are also leaks from roof when it rained during our stay. however, we had a nice stay.

Pros: Bali inspired Villas, privacy, own pool, spacious area, peaceful, staffs are friendly and accommodating Cons: too many insects, poor water supply, occasional brown outs, too far from alona beach (need to rent tricycle if you want to go in and out of panglao) not recommended for senior since need long walks

Excellent place to stay ”
Has some good bars near it, but you will probably need a motorbike due to the road leading up to it being a bit of a trek. Staff are friendly, place is clean but some insects may get into the rooms now and again, probably due to the number of plants around the property. My only major complaint, that is easily fixed, is to add some curtains to the dining/living area of the standard villa instead of just having them in the bedroom, as it can get really glary in the mornings when you're trying to check your laptop and stuff. The bachelor villa doesn't have this problem. Overall, it's a great place if you just want to relax inside, and maybe pop off for a drink at the nearby bar without the fear of having to drive drunk around Panglao at night.

Worth the money. (with some cons) ”
The place is exactly how it looks like on the pictures (if not better). Our stay was amazing and had a good time in the pool. Cons: THERE WAS NO TOILET PAPER, the employees weren't very friendly and felt like they didn't even want to be there at all. Shower was difficult as the warm water is only coming out every few minutes and lasts only for a few seconds. Water pressure was also bad.

Bathroom floods when showering because of design. Sink and shower drain clogged, and had smelly water due to them fixing septic tank. Could improve on staff attentiveness. Rang the bell at the counter for 10 minutes without anyone coming. There should be a phone in the room to call the front desk.

this place spells privacy at its finest -i Iike the concept and I love the architecture and furnitures were at higher end but they really need pest control soon - I like that there wer no windows just big sliding doors and good AC but there were flies and mosquitoes when we went- I just wish they do something about this esp every after each guest or every other day or install some insect repelling gadgets coz its just dragging the experience down a bit and the kitchen pillows smelled like fish (prolly guest before us ordered/cooked some grilled or fried fish) but I hope room service team changes the pillow case often on the kitchen pillows..thank you

The stay and place is good. The location is quite not advisable for a solo traveler because its too far especially if you opted to just walk and did not rent a motor. The street leading to the place has minimal street lights. But overall, the place is good. The rain shower however was not working. The staff are accommodating.
