Resort was really very nice. Great location very friendly staff and very clean. Only disappointment was that we were not informed of bad beach conditions that were occurring. Staff should have informed us and they did not. At check in we spoke with the concierge for recommendations on restaurants as well as plans for water sports. He told us to contact the facility on “their” beach which handles water activities. Turns out they had not been open for days, nor did they open during our stay. This was due to the bad beach/water conditions. We could have saved a lot of time calling to book if the Pink Shell would have been up front with us, that was disappointing!

My girlfriend and I took a 4 day weekend vacation to the Pink Shell. We were in awe from the moment we got there. The staff was friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Our room was beautiful and had an unbelievably beautiful view. We only had four days but felt like it was longer because we were so relaxed and did so many things. I'm trying to think of one negative thing, but can't come up with any!! Alex from the food and beverage area was so sweet and accommodating. She made us feel like we were the only people at the resort. We can't wait to go back.

We started coming to the Pink Shell 40 years ago and enjoyed its unique location and setting( watching boat traffic from intercoastal and ocean / natural park environment outside your door/ perfect beach setting/ pools for all ages), and were surprised to see those features still in place, only better than we remember. It is one location that truly does cater to all ages. As seniors, we will be back.

The rooms were large and spacious. Everything was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The breakfast buffet was the best we ever had. Pink shells had a very safe and inviting environment for a family vacation.

We stayed for a week & had a great time! The staff is great, location is great & the kids had a blast. I loved that the pool was right by the splash pad so the kids could go back & forth without us having to worry about them. Also the beach is right there but isn’t huge like other areas of Ft Myers Beach so that was nice too. Will definitely come back!

We had a great time, I would recommend this resort for families. Although it was higher $$$, it was worth it! The beach is beautiful and we had so much fun using SUP’s and lounging on the beach and in the pools. Everyone we saw working at this resort seemed genuinely happy and also very accommodating!

The website is a bit Miss Leading you don't stay at the Main Resort but one of the buildings 2 down from it. which was nice but Not for the Money when you think you'll be at the Main Building. ALSO there is a $38 resort fee to use the Main building 2 over where you stay, Nice place But when you Spend close to $300. night I think you can expect more! or at least say on your website not staying at main Resort Building for that price!

Beautiful views, lovely 1 bedroom apartment. We stayed In the Captiva building. Best location. Close enough to the main action, but also quieter and we loved the quieter pool in the afternoons after the beach. Good food, in fact, Bongo’s by the pool has a great burger!

Wonderful resort,prime location,great breakfast and friendly staff. My only complaint would be the pool at the Sanibel View. The pool steps had a lot of debris on them,and a lot of the lounge chairs needed the cushions cleaned or replaced. I had a great vacation and would definitely return and recommend this resort to family and friends

This resort had a beautiful beach area and I loved the screened in balcony. Overall I was disappointed. It was very pricey, outdated, and many of the staff that I interacted with were not nice. Also if your thinking about going in April beware of the love bugs. They literally covered the pool areas, you could not eat outside or sit at the pool, they beach wasn't bad. I think the resort could have done something more to control them. My mom stayed in a cheap motel about 2 miles from us and her pool was not even close to as bad as ours was.

Room was located next to kitchen with constant motors running. Balcony had about 2 inches of water floating on floor making it unusable. Right next to exit door to beach where at 6:00 AM staff cleaned outside entrance dragging chairs adding to the noise inside room 5104. I am sure the stay would have been enjoyable in any other room. For the price, it was not worth the stay.
