highly recommended, will stay again”
at first arrival i took a taxi which cost Y700 for <10min, then found out it's only 15min walk to kamakura station, Kim san & another lady was very kind to clean up the room even i check in 9am, tq so much, the room is very nice with limited space but enough to place a big luggage, the out side big basin & toilet r very convenient, with heated toilet seat & water rinsing. the kitchen is allowed to use inc cups & bowls, & i cooked noodle for Kim san & make coffee, wifi is excellant, bed/pillow/blanket is comfy, window can be opened for fresh air, it's in a very quiet housing area & 2 lanes back of main road, Lawson store is just 5min away. the shower w bathtub is spacious enough to wipe body & turn around for fat persons, but no hanger on the wall, clothes can put into a basket on the floor. due to weekday i booked at only about Y5000/n x3n, very much worth it.

The room was like on the pictures. The staff was super nice and spoke English which is rare. They allowed us to leave our luggage until the end of the afternoon.

I enjoyed the stay besides the very bad weather ruined my plans. 17 minutes walking to Hasedera or same time to Kamakura Daibutsu (Buddha) Besides was a private small room, everything was fine. Towels for free of charge was the best surprise. Unfortunately the Washlet on the 2nd floor wasn't working. I'm not sure If was cheap because the Corona situation, but the price that I paid (aprox 2.500) was decent. I recommend.

The windows were open!”
We couldnt close the windows because they were tied with some wired that we couldnt pull down. It was very strange for windows to be open like that. There was a construction ongoing across the street which was so noisy and it was so cold. We couldnt sleep well. ☹️

Close to beach, friendly staff and cute dog”
I enjoyed my stay in a Plage Yuigahama. I was a perfect location for me since I wanted to stay near the beach which is only 3 minutes away by foot. You can also go to Enoshima Island which is about 7km from the Guesthouse. The closest convenience store is about 3 minutes away (Lawson) and the city center is also within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again when I visit Kamakura again.

Very good”
Simple single bed room in 3-storey tiny house which works well for me. Shared toilet on each floor and shared shower room (which is only available at level 1). Easy to find and a 10-15min walk from Kamakura station (there is option you can train from Kamakura to Wadazuka/Yuguihama station which is nearer to the house). Near to beach but it was drizzling and the beach is actually those dark colored sandy type, which doesnt really appeal to me. There is also a Lawson store on the same path to the beach. All well except I find that the guy who assisted me to check in didnt wear a smile. He wasnt rude but just gave me an impression as if I "owe" him a living :(

Cool for visiting Kamakura and enoshima. Private room!”
They offer bikes, quit rusty, but good enough for going to Enoshima and enjoy the area. Pros: they accept pets. Cons: they accept pets. I’m allergic to cats, so I could feel the cat ambience and I was quite allergic even if wasn’t any animal in the house.

Fairly nice homestay”
This is really a homestay with quite a few rooms. Good value for money. Wifi worked very well. I got there early but could leave my bag there before checking in. Staff seemed very nice. Lovely warm communal toilet too. The shower is on the ground floor and it may have been nicer if there was one for the floor. Also finding staff wasnt always that easy when I wanted to check the check out procedure. Generally good value for money though.

Accommodations not as advertised”
On Agoda, Plage Yuigahama is advertised as a hotel. However, upon arriving, I found accommodations closely resembling a hostel with shared bathrooms and minuscule rooms. Upon discovering the inaccuracy of the advertisement, I requested to cancel the rest of my stay to which I received an inadequate response from the on-shift personnel, and zero response from the manager to whom he promised to report. After waiting the agreed upon length of time, I contacted Agoda customer support, which promised to negotiate on my behalf and I was informed that I would not be issued a refund. Meanwhile, my travel companion who was in the same situation, was granted a refund for the remaining stay. I, likewise, expect consistency in the refund policy. I am willing to provide proof of this inconsistency upon request. Thank you for your time and effort.

Too noisy. Hard to get a good night sleep”
Walls are thin and corridor is very narrow. From as early as 4am till as late as 2am when guests leave and return to the hostel (or anytime someone uses the common toilet), one has to put up with noisy doors opening and slamming shut

Amazing Place and Location”
This place is perfectly located just a little over a minute from the beach. You are walking distance from many good restaurants and have many amazing sightseeing spots in walking distance. For those who love to walk or ride bikes I highly recommend walking or biking to Enoshima.
