I ended staying at the Rookery Down the shore property, instead of plantation III that I paid for. I was told the property was also on the beach and it was not. Property is very noisy as it is close to the road. neighbors argued loudly several times.

It was not updated. There was a light switch that was covered in duct tape that couldn’t be used. There was water leaking thru the ceiling. Booking gave me the wrong price and got the reservation wrong. Nobody will answer my phone calls.

room had trash still in it when we got there. I don’t believe the room was cleaned because we found dirty sheets and towels in the closet also fake eyelashes on the bathroom counter, large cockroaches outside door, didn’t have towels for every night we had to re use towels, the towels were stained and dirty, bed was very uncomfortable, pillows were very small,

Enjoyed our stay at Plantation East”

I liked the location and I loved the pool. Vacasa was great about the uncomfortable smell. They were going to give us another room, but we decided to stay.
When we arrived, the room had an unpleasant smell. The ceiling fans were dirty and the floor was sandy. We opened the door and the smell got better in a day.

The pool was perfect for our older kids and our toddler. It had a huge area that wasn't any deeper than 1.5 ft. Great staff.
Our room was not clean. There was a lot of sand on the floor and there was no broom in the room. The air filter hadn't been changed for 6 months which made the room very muggy and smell. The couch was damp and gritty. The staff was great and went out of their way to fix the issues. That's why I would recommend this place. Also, our room is probably not like other rooms. My parents were in a different room and it was much nicer.

The beds were not comfortable at all. There was not a working phone in our room. We were only able to contact our vacasa host with issues.
