      Friendly staff and nice tents”

Our group (of 11 people) stayed overnight in a “glamping tent” which has almost everything we need. It was supposed to be just max of 10 but they allowed us all to stay to where we are truly grateful because it would be sad for some people to from our group to sleep separately. Our group also is very happy with the friendliness of the people in the resort. The staffs were so accommodating and very kind and helpful. The tent is just perfect too. It’s good for a barkada and family. Will definitely go back!!

      Great Summer Escapade ”

We enjoyed our stay at Playa La Caleta. The sand is fine and the water is calm. We spent the day chilling under the sun, swimming, kayaking, floating on a giant flamingo and playing volleyball. Unfortunately, their giant slide was under maintenance when we get there, otherwise, it must be a fun thing to try. At night, there was an acoustic band playing cool music. However, the cottage, which they say fit 6-8 people may be too cramp and can comfortably accommodate only 4-5 pax when sleeping. I suggest that they put a box with lock, so there will be a place to store valuable items since their locker is quite far from our cottage. On hot summer days, the electric fan in the cottage, which is quite worn out, was not sufficient to emit breeze needed to cool down. Other than that, it is good beach to visit to relax & unwind, especially that it is not so crowded.

      Nice Beach”

This place has been nearly swept away by a typhoon, although the location is very idyllic, its a bit overpriced with charging roomrates for nipa huts. Some of the pictures on the site or from rooms that dont exist anymore. Just go for the cheapest option if you come here as they are all very basic quarters. Bring a electric torch/flashlight as it is very dark in the night. Also bring 1800 pesos as payment for the boat to get you there

      Bataan trip”

It’s our first time to travel as a couple in a beach. We choose PLC because of the photos we saw. It was a nice place to stay, they have a lot of guest at that time so we ask if we could pinch our tent to the other side of the beach and the staff are kind enough to allow us so we could have a quality time together. We were able to talk to the Kitchen Manager during our dinner and breakfast and she’s very nice and sweet, she mention that the property is working on improving the beach specially the route going to the beach via land travel. We also enjoyed the kayak and the swing. Overall we will consider going back to PLC

Here are the things that we've observed during our 3D2N stay in PLC : - We have experienced brownout every morning then it will just come back around 4-5pm but we've asked the staff if how about the Glamping Tents, she said that for the glamping tent, they have a generator ready, but for the rest of their accommodation, they dont have any (how unfair right?), also we don't know if the electric interruption is intentionally or not because we've experienced it in our whole stay there. - No security roaming especially during night - There are plenty of worms in our cottage crawling most especially during night - Staff in the reception area are unaccommodating and not smiling except for that kuya (we forgot his name) because he welcomed us from the time that we ingress. - We brought charcoal from Makati to PLC because they said that using gasul or butane are not allowed, but some of the guests are using it and they just ignore it.

Make sure you bring enough food as the price in the island is double. The cottages are not well maintained you might get soaked if its raining the whole time & there is an ants hive in our cottage we needed to transfer. Due to mis communication to another contact person for boat the person threathened to file a complain in their barangay against the one who picked us which is we feel not a good way to welcome tourist or guest as it is not our fault that island personel pretended they are there to pick us out.

We were traveling as a family with 3y/o son. Location wise its 3hrs drive from manila which is great! We booked 2nights for our stay. Upon arriving at PLC we were asked to pay 300 each for entrance fee which I think is not ok if you are already staying in their cootages/gazebo. Type of accommodation is below our expectations. Linens are old, mattress are too thin, lots of insects at nightgood thinga bout its cold at night . Food?IT S*cks!! We paid for 220 php for sinigang with just 3-4pcs of pork with fats!how can a kod eat that disgusting thing?pleas of you ate going here be prepared from foods, toys and pillows . They are bragging that they were an wardee from several tourism category and I dont think this resort deserve that! The only thing that we loved was the beach and sand.

The place is beautiful! BUT the food was terrible. The restaurant is so disorganized and will let you wait for a long time. They served super dried up grilled squid. Don't dare follow-up in the kitchen, the kitchen staff will answer back and make you feel it is our fault (this really broke my heart 💔). I expected room And facilities based on the Information in their website And also here in Agoda . But the place is dilapidated. Aircon rooms are no longer available. Some facilities, like the slide, are not available. Table For lunch at the River seems to be just a reminder of its happy days. Not much food available that can be ordered from their Restaurant. Lastly, boat ride fee to /from the resort is pricey. But still, credits to the staff For being nice And accommodating while we were there. And view is good especially during sunset.

Do not be misled by picture-perfect in their site”

Good: 1. The cove is good. Bad: 1. The gazebo is just horrendous. They will let you stay in huts where you will be surrounded by dysfunctional toilets, garbage piles and rocky shore. We needed to move to a cabana and pay more. 2. Piles of garbages are everywhere. Cigarette butts are scattered on the sands. Obnoxious odor of secondary smoke will disturb your solitude while sitting on the beach. Their “beach clean up” is just a cover-up. 3. Employees badly need comprehensive training on hospitality. 4. Be ready to be woken up by loud, boisterous noise from the workers. 5. Be careful of untucked, naked electrical wirings for fake torches. The wires are connected by electrical wires which may leak causing more serious accident. 6. Guests from cabana are not treated fairly vs glampers. Maybe because they will pay more vs those at the cabanas. Glamping tents are near gensets so expect to listen to the consistent mechanical noise all-day round.
