This hotel is so over the top in trendiness, I love it. This hotel is great for Singles with rooms designed specifically for individuals and lots of communal spaces. The place makes for beautiful night photos. I would love to come back to this place, provided I was traveling by myself.

Better than I expected ”
The room is better than I expected. Despite being really small (there’s not much space for you to place your suitcase and open it without obstructing your walking area, so pack minimally! The room is suitable for not more than 2 travelers.) I think the thematic concept of the room along with the whole hotel was done really well. It is vibrant and cool, very much the vibe that millennial or Gen Z travelers would enjoy. The thing that sold it for me was that right outside my balcony I had a spectacular view of Seongsan Ilchulbong. The room is also very clean with quality toiletries provided. One gripe I had is that because the room is really small and the bed is pretty much just 1 step away from the door, the noise insulation is bad and you can hear people talking in corridors or slamming doors. In terms of staff service, it’s not very accessible as there is no telephone and the front desk is located in an opposite block to where our room was housed in. But it’s not too much of an issue for us as our stay was very self sufficient. The gift shop is great and has a nice curation of brands for the target audience so if you’re looking for unique souvenirs, there will be something for you. Even the laundromat takes after a very cool concept. Overall a great experience and I would recommend!

Perfect”
I really enjoyed my stay there. It's a pretty cool place to stay. Great location, very close to Ilchulbong Peak, Seongsan mountain, Udo Island. You can rent bikes and scooters. And the camp itself always has an activity going on every night so you'll always have something to do!

The hotel is a great place to relax, they have many facilities, like pub, restaurant and cafe within the premises. Along with that they have their own tours like Instagram worthy site tours, sunset peak trekking etc. 100% recommend staying here

Exceptional”
A really nice and clean hotel. Kinda felt like I was in Europe. Very comfy beds, nice black out curtains. restaurants, cafe and bars on site. Staff spoke good English. Walkable distance to Seongsan peak (30 mins). Good base for exploring the area. Would recommend. Only thing I’d change is for there to be a mini fridge in the room.

Convenient location and hip experience”
A unique and convenient stay, just a short drive from the sunrise peak. Although the rooms are on the smaller side, the design is very nice and the complex you are on is fun to experience! There is no refrigerator, but there is a water and ice machine on the floor. Many of the rooms show bathroom with the glass wall, but there is a curtain that can be pulled around to cover both the toilet and shower.

Quiet and comfy place”
Stayed for 4 nights. Booked the standard double room. Superb view of Ilchulbong from the room. However, the room can be too small to open the luggage. Location is a away from the city, will recommend to have a rental car.

Much more than just a room with a bed”
Second time visiting Playce. Last time was three years ago and they’ve only expanded their offerings. The activities they host and the open layout of all their communal areas encourages socializing and enriches your experience at Jeju. Every morning is fantastic, starting at Dorrell cafe, and even doing the laundry feels cool. You wake up to Seongsan Ilchulbong looming outside your window. My one qualm is that bus routes are scarce through this area and with everything so spread out on Jeju, cabbing everywhere gets expensive very quickly. Consider renting a car. They have charging bays for EVs and Socars on site. Otherwise, some activities include transportation. Great food options nearby and a relatively quieter part of the island where you can still enjoy nature. Will be back for sure.

Good to catch sunrise at Seongsan Ilchubon”
Hotel is really close to Seongsan ilchubon so I could grab a taxi to catch a breathtaking sunrise at the peak. Only close to Snoopy Garden. Only downside is it’s a little far from town centre and takes time to attractions in west, south and central part of Jeju if you don’t have a car.

Nice industrial style hotel with lots of activities available ”
The hotel itself is like an upgraded version of a hostel and I stayed at a double room facing the famous Seongsan ilchulbong. It was nice to stay in bed to enjoy a sunrise. If you do use the balcony, make sure to close the door properly or mosquitoes will fly into your room. (I've gotten 8 mosquito bites one night!) Also, do check out the website of Playce and see their available activities (hiking tours, movie night, market, yoga etc). When I was there, I joined a sunset hiking tour and their nordic walking tour. The tour was not available in English unfortunately but I was able to communicate with the guides as I had a basic foundation of Korean. All in all, it was a great experience for me and would love to return!

Unique and hip place near Seongsan Ilchulbong & Udo Island!”
Playce Camp is one of the most unique hotels I've stayed at in terms of decor and ambiance. The standard single room is definitely on the smaller side, but it had just enough space for me. As a solo traveler, it was a nice place to sleep after spending the day exploring the eastern side of Jeju Island. However, it would be nice if there was a mini-fridge and kettle.

Perfect location for Sungsan area toyr. Room is clean and neat, yes, it is very tight inside the hotel room. But you’ll get used with it soon. Overall, nice stay and will visit again.
