Diamond room was great”
Stayed 10 days. All in room 529, diamond. The king bed was clean and comfortable. The room was quite large with a desk, small table and several chairs in addition to the king size bed. A large closet with mirrored sliding doors was nice for my extended stay. The bathroom (CR) was very large and clean. We always had enough hot water in the oversize bathtub/ shower. We saw a total of 3 small roaches over the 10 days. The free breakfast was good but very limited on choice. The front desk staff, housekeeping and security staff were all friendly and helpful. If you need your room cleaned, or just want fresh towels, give the front desk a call. The little door hanger will most likely not be seen if you don't call. Overall a great stay in a hotel with a good reputation. I missed not having a pool, but there are so many things to do and see in Iligan City.

Had a great stay in this hotel in the center of Iligan City..helpful guard searched us Taxi everytime we wanted to go somewhere. And a restaurang upstairs which had very delicious food.

Our stay was okay considering the price and the fact that we just stayed in our room for a few hrs to sleep. The AC in our room wasn't working good and the room was small. We called the hotel prior to arrival for us to ask some instructions how to get there from the terminal and the staff just said we have to take a cab and that it's just 15mins away..what we didn't knw is that taxi from the terminal is not metered with a fixed rate of 150. We also didnt knw that u may drop off from a corner (I forgot what st since it was our 1st time to go to Iligan) and just walk a few steps from the corner to the hotel. When we asked how to get to ma.cristina falls, they also just said take a cab..but when we asked the locals, u may take a jeepney and the driver will drop u off within few steps from the gate of maria cristina plant...

Sadly, this is the best hotel Iligan can offer”
This is the best that Iligan can offer. But it certainly isn't the best. You can hear the noise from outside if you are in your room. The room is not sound proof. When I checked in here 4 years ago, the place was new. But the age shows this time. It hasn't been maintained well or the paint just makes the place look old. Either way, it's not the best hotel really. But this is the best hotel in Iligan City. Sad, actually. Their function halls are good but the rooms aren't that great.

Good location within the commercial center of Iligan City which is near to Gaisano mall and fast food chains and other needs. The staff responded immediately on my complaint re defective flat tv in my room by replacing same after checking its defect.

Poorly run”
There were many problems with this hotel, and they started within the first five minutes. I was shown to my room, I believe it was a Ruby room, where my view was a rather rough looking wall. I was not very pleased about that, but it happens. Then I found that the toilet would not flush. The front desk manager did accept my complaint graciously, and moved me to a better room with a view of the front street and a working toilet. +1 for the staff. Sadly, that same manager loses a point for telling me to bring my dirty laundry to the front desk to be collected for washing, rather than having someone collect it from my room. The housekeeping staff made-up the rooms at seemly random times once per day. You have no choice but to vacate the room if you want it done up. They also keep knocking until you open the door, as they can’t seem to understand English very well. I was just finishing up a shower when they arrived and knocked, and repeatedly I yelled for them to come back in 30 minutes, and repeatedly they knocked again and again. I had to open the door wearing just my towel to tell in certain terms to bugger off for a little while. One morning after yelling for them to hold on one more moment, they used their key card to open the door and catch me and my guest in the middle of getting dressed. That same day, I returned in the afternoon to find that when the cleaners had left, they had not locked my door. Leaving all my possessions vulnerable. Over 7 days I had to kill three large cockroaches. The beds only have sheets, no blankets, so be prepared to regulate your temperature with the air conditioner. As other reviewers have mentioned, there is never enough bacon for breakfast. They seem to be out of it most of the time. Only one of the young male baristas impressed me with his drinks and service. Iligan city didn't have very many options of places to stay, but this is a decent hotel at an OK price. The included breakfast was typical, but was delicious.

Newest hotel in Iligan”
I booked the Coral room. It was not as shown in the picture presented in Agoda. I paid a higher price to upgrade to a deluxe room. The tv had only 5 channels and they had a bad reception even though it was satellite. The restaurant was nice. But they kept getting my order wrong and tried to charge me for it. I called over the Manager and finally got it straightened out. The location has limited restaurants around and does not seem safe to walk around at nite.

Vaue for money”
Quite old hotel but upgrades are being done.I stayed in na Onyx Room.Its relatively small but was okay. The room had complentary water and coffee.. There is a 40 inch TV and water heater. Cabinets were not available. Location is perfect. Important reminder-book ahead of your planned stay as they are usually fully booked.

very unsatisfied, poorest service ever at a hotel”
My stay was for 3 days, 3 days my room was never serviced, cable tv only had 1 local channel, after daily request for room to be serviced it was never done. poor food at dinning area, no currency exchange, no credit cards accepted, worst stay at a hotel i have ever had, would be advisable to stay somewhere else in Iligan City besides this hotel, will never return to this hotel or allow my clients to stay there.

Clean room without window, small. Good location”
The room (Onyx) was without window and quite small. Location of the hotel is good and staff was friendly. Room was not automatically cleaned and one had to ask for new toilet paper etc. The restaurant on the roof top of the hotel is a highlight. Breakfast can only be chosen a la carte and only instant coffee is included. Overall, for room size and the fact that it was without window (which was not mentioned anywhere) it is relatively expensive.

It wasn't as I expected it to be, I have some few problems. Most of the staff knew me because of the Hotel's issue I encountered. I got transferred to another room because the first one I was having problems with access to the room, later on I found out that the hotel staff knew about this all along but still gave me the room. I wasn't too fond of how the bathroom looks like, it was too small, and there was no bath tub.

Could be better; could be worse”
As the title of this review says, there was nothing really great or nothing really bad about the stay. It is a good location, and the staff was great. The only thing that I was dissappointed with was the restaurant. During our 1 week stay with breakfast, they got our food orders right only once. If you want to order bacon for breakfast, they always say they're out. Oh, come on! You're out of bacon every day? Please do a better job stocking your restaurant.
