First Class Hotel”
plaza del norte hotel is such a first class hotel in laoag. we were so amazed of its facilities and the hotel staffs were so welcoming. the hotel's location is very accessible to ilocos norte's tourist spots like malacanang of the north, laoag city, batac-marcos museum, paoay church, and paoay sandunes. however, the hotel should improve thier menu and food selection especially that the location is not accessible for other restaurants. nonetheless, the experience was very delightful and we would like to go back soon.

Nice Hotel”
I booked for 5 rooms for my family for the holy week. Great location, away from crowded city. Very nice and quite, seems like a newly constructed hotel. Accommodating staff except from 1 front desk clerk who seem to be confused with room locations. Food is fine but it take us 45 mins to wait before it was served. Pool is nice. Fountain is nice during night time. Thank you Plaza Del Norte management and staff.

nice hotel close to unesco world heritage site”
my reservation included breakfast. was excited to eat ilocos norte breakfast sausage (longanisa), but to my disappointment, they served dinner for breakfast: baked pasta, roast beef? there was a wedding the night before and i felt like they served left over food from the wedding. there was i big group who had breakfast before us, the food was almost gone, they didnt refill. it was only 0700. i requested if they could refill the corned beef, they didnt. the location is good if the guests have their own vehicle as it was very close to malacanang of the north, paoay church and laoag city. only problem is it was not accessible to public utility vehicles. there were very few buses/jeepneys that passes by there. one should go to laoag city to access transportations to tourist spots.

i love the hotel. very nice ambience, very friendly and accomodating staffs. totally relaxing. near to the historical paoay church and only 15mins ride to capitol of laoag. this hotel is perfect for the newly married couples and for those who wants a location for reception. if i wanna get marry someday, for me i will choose this as the reception.

Isolation at its best”
I never thought that there is a hotel worth staying in Laoag. This is a very nice hotel. The rooms are well maintained. The facilities are nice. The place is clean. There is just one downside, the internet connection sucks. Other than that, everything else is nice. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Laoag, either alone or with the whole family.

They had given our room away since we had arrived later in the day. The flights to Laoag were scheduled to arrive beyond check-in time. At the front of the desk, we caught some words about "queen" and some chuckling. When we carried our bags to our room, we found out that they had changed our room from standard queen to standard twin. When we confronted them about it by going back to the front desk, they said they would send someone to the room to fix it. But they weren't very apologetic until we told them that that wasn't the proper thing to do to hotel guests. They should have been up front regarding the availability of the room and should have offered to help before we discovered for ourselves. The staff was apologetic but only after a day in the incident. More professional training might be needed there. The good thing about the hotel is it's food (a la carte) is great. Most hotels in the area don't have their own restaurants so that's an up. Nice swimming pool and lawn chairs. On the overall, okay experience.

Elegant Hotel”
Our overnight stay in this hotel was indeed fantastic. We arrived late afternoon and to our surprise, we were fetch by an exclusive hotel couch... we felt extra special that the people who welcomed us were well dressed in uniform and very formal. With regards to our rooms, it was very clean and nice. We enjoyed much the swimming pool and food, although the serving was very long, its ok because food taste good also.

the hotel is new. the room amenities were beyond my expectations for the price i paid. The hotel has a large pool and wonderful sitting areas where guests may lounge and pass the time. the only issue i have is the coffee shop. they serve good food at reasonable price. however, they have relatively few choices that breakfast is more egg than anything.

The hotel was big and the people were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and they provided us free bottled water. We are completely happy with our stay. It was a little hard to find at night and there were no signs on the highway directing us to the hotel.

Perfect for our summer and lenten vacation, its very quiet place to stay. The hotel staff are friendly, you can choose room that fits for your budget (suite, standard)and each one of them is good enough. I will stay again here if i had chance.

Lovely hotel with great customer service”
The hotel is beautiful and clean and they have very accommodating staff. They serve delicious food as well. One thing I did not like is the presence of flies and other insects.They keep on bugging us when were having dinner and breakfast. Cable TV is also not available during our stay. But overall, it was a pleasant experience.

Excellent service ”
The hotel reminded me of Bacara Resort in Santa Barbara CA. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. Upon arrival at the airport, I called them up to be picked up and even though my reservation didn't initially showed up in their system, nevertheless, they sent their airport shuttle right away. Customer satisfaction at it's best.

new & nice rooms...price is quite reasonable. location: far flung paoay...you'll need your own vehicle if you need to go places room: suite room is nice, lots of space. f&b: the free breakfast is edible. for lunch & dinner; better to eat out as there are quite a number of good restaurants in nearby laoag city. staff: inexperienced staff, quite understandable since this hotel is quite new. points for their courteousness.
