Great location with Great staff”
We initially started our trip out at a different hotel, but it had so many problems and the staff they were very rude, so we decided to switch hotels thankfully the plaza had some rooms available. We stayed on the 11th floor on the side with a view towards the beach and The city. We were here for July 4 so we were able to watch the fireworks all around the city and the beach at the same time and it was gorgeous. The hotel is not far from Daytona lagoon or the other attractions and shops as well as being right on the beach. One of our favorite things would have to be instead of having a card to keep up with we had wristbands to allow us into the doors and gates on the property. And the staff here is very friendly and accommodating and polite and just making conversation and being sure that you were completely happy with your stay . We will definitely be staying at this hotel every time we go to Daytona.

Wonderful Resort!”
We have been going to the Plaza Resort & Spa for years. We love the Resort, the location, and most of all the staff! Mr. Henry is always so kind and helpful at check in. Mr. Kenny keeps the pool and pool deck sparkling clean and safe. And Mrs. Sue at the pool grill always keeps us happy and well fed. We have eaten at the pool grill and the restaurant at the Plaza and both are great. We always have a great experience here and we will be back.

Had a room booked with a king bed but when we got there, we were upgraded to an ocean front room with a balcony and 2 queen beds which was great because my daughter and a friend came along. Beautiful beach and pool! Hotel was nice and clean and everyone was friendly! We will definitely be back!

Loved the location. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We were guests during COVID-19 and sanitizer stations were everywhere. Staff all had masks and followed proper procedures. It was very comforting at a difficult time.

Hurricane in Daytona”
Very Good. With all seaside hotels there are weathering and wear and tear issues but nothing that distracts form the comfort and service that you get. The hotel is ideally located and the staff and facilities add to the experience. Although it is a family resort it still maintains the an adult feel. The poolside bar, restaurant and hotel bar are well priced and have a great selection. The food is very tasty, good portion sizes and the speciality Hurricane cocktail is a must (thank you Mike) had a very enjoyable stay.

I seriously cannot say enough good things about how amazing, wonderful, beautiful, accommodating, friendly, just plain awesome the Plaza Resort & Spa is. This is our second year staying here and we keep bringing more friends with us! Upgrade to the studio, the views in the room are amazing. Enjoying the sunrise each morning, seeing the white sands & teal ocean, hitting the waves, if you’re a beach lover this is you’re ticket! The pool is huge and there’s just sooo much fun to be had. The music is awesome at the pool, great playlist! And they have chess, cornhole, connect 4 supersized and the pool bar is awesome. I could keep going for ever but I’ll just say 5 stars rating from us.

We found the employees were some of the BEST we have ever experienced. Room was great, we spent New Years there for 2 days along with about 30 of our friends. Restaurant food on menu was very well price and FRESH! We will be back!

Better than expected.”
Stayed at the Plaza for 3 nights and we all truly enjoyed our stay. We had queen studio on the 5th floor, overlooking beach and pool, with 2 balconies. Room is a little bit on a dated side and I did not understand the idea of having full fridge/sink/microwave and 2 burner stove and no plates/pots/glasses or anything like that. Maybe we could ve requested them? Beds were super comfy and the sound of the ocean was just so relaxing. We had dinner at 1881 on 2 evenings and I wasn’t expecting much but food was good on both occasions. We spent most of our time by the pool and beach. Loved every minute of it and I really wish we could ve stayed longer. Would def stay here again.

Jordan at the front desk who checked is in was a breath of fresh air! We wee having a terrible couple days after a Cancelled cruise. We got to the Plaza Resort just drained and ready to relax. She was so understanding and accommodating. She truly was the highlight of our getaway. Thank you Jordan.

Very good location and price, not so good with COVID ”
I enjoy a good time with my wife and kids, my only complaint is the elevator, the majority of the guests do not use any mask, only four people allow and you can see 6 and more people jump in, you do not see any staff to control the mess, the majority of the guest do not use any mask in the lobby, I recommend you the hotel if you are not care about the pandemic, the staff was great and all used the mask, but the guests suck big time.

Doesn't smell like moisture!”
For a hotel on the beach, this hotel is the only one I've stayed at that doesn't smell like moisture! They are doing some renovations currently, but mostly painting & not construction. The sad part is they're painting over all the mahogany & making it flat white. They also have some music playing that belongs in Forever 21 instead of the Plaza. It's unfortunate that they've gotten leadership who's interested in erasing the history & the brand/consumer perception of the Plaza. We chose this hotel because it is timeless and elegant. Now, it's just another chain appealing to an already oversaturated market. It lost what's special. Anyway, we asked for a quiet room & got one directly next to the elevators, so it wasn't quiet. The room itself was nice, but could use a deep clean. It wasn't dirty, but it didn't feel fresh, either. But, that's probably on their paint bucket list after the lobby areas. All in all, I would stay there again.
