I am a solo traveler and it was my first time at Bacolod City. The hotel staff was very friendly and ready to assist me in any way especially giving directions around the City and other tourist spots. The cool bars and restaurants of Bacolod are just around the corner. I felt safe in the hotel even as i checked in late in the morning and also left in the wee hours. The staff also arranged for a trusted taxi service. The room was big and well kept with clean toilets. For the money i paid i surely had a pleasant stay with free wifi to boost. Next time I will plan to stay longer.

First, location is great! Pasalubong stores, coffee shops as well as the Provincial Capitol are just a few walks away. Very accessible also to PUVs. I've recently been to Masskara festival, and i felt like a local because of its easy to access to everything. :) Second, our room is clean. I love the fact that they changed bedsheets, blankets, pillow cases and towels daily even without request. Unlike to other hotels you have to request for housekeeping to change linens. At Pleasant, they knock on your door and do the changes even without request. Good job! Third, the price is cheap. Though no breakfast is included, they offer breakfast for as low as 80 pesos with brewed coffee. :) If i'll visit again Bacolod, will definitely book to this hotel again. :)

Our stay in Pleasant Travelers Pension House was great. The staff was very accomodating since we arrived. The place is near the port since we are going to iloilo the next morning. The room was clean. Recommended for travellers with budget constraints.

Decent Pension House with Great Location”
What I love about Pleasant Travelers Pension House is it's LOCATION! Just a few meters away (around 2blocks), you will already be in Lacson St. where all the Restaurants can be found. It is on the same street as BongBong's and Merzci Pasalubong Stores and very near Calea Cafe! :) Diotay's eatery is just behind it as well. If you are a foodie and want to be near these restos, this is a good place to stay. The room is basic with TV, Aircon, and Hot Shower. You have enough space to be able to move freely. :)

On the go in Bacolod”
This was the third of three establishments I booked during my stay in Bacolod, and it was in fact a pleasant stay (no pun intended). The room was nice and spacious The bathroom was clean and there was hot water. The wi fi was pretty steady, as I didn't have much trouble staying online. The air conditioner went out a couple of times, but the staff was prompt in getting it up and running again. I only ate breakfast there once, but the cafe seemed to be quite suitable for a simple breakfast which was what I had. It's location is about two blocks from Lacson St. which allows you to walk, jump on a jeepney, or hail a cab to go to Robinson's, or SM Malls. And it's maybe a 10-15 walk to the local Chinatown district. It's on a quiet street, so you don't get a lot of traffic and other type of noise. It's certainly a place I'd stay again when in Bacolod.

Good for a night”
The place is centrally located within Bacolod City. Walking distance from Calea and only one ride away to Manokan Country and the Port (for those transiting to Iloilo). For those wanting a good night sleep, you may want to stay in a room not along the street, as it might be noisy at times. Clean and very ideal for budget travelers.

Affordable and pleasant stay in this place. Room was clean. With good wifi connection. Located centrally in downtown bacolod with lots of restos to choose from. They have there own resto though also with good food choices. Will recommend this to anyone.

The pension is in a great location and very quiet area. There are many restaurants in walking distance. The main raid closeby can take you to downtown an Robinson mall. The SM is a cheap taxi ride away. Many friendly people around if you want directions.

Perfect location because its in the middle of everything. Calea is just walking distance. Staff are very accomodating and receptionist always entertain our inquiries regarding our itirenaries. We would definitely stay here again once we came back to Bacolod.

The Inn was pleasant”
We stayed at Pleasant Travelers Pension House on Oct 18-21 which was the masskara festival. The hotel was just a few blocks away from the party at lacson street. The staff were very accommodating. and the room was clean. so all in all,you get what you pay.

Very basic but Clean”
If you're looking for a budget inn that is so cheap but clean, then this is the place for you. You can walk barefoot on the floor or even to the reception area without a spec of dust collecting at your feet. The towels are also clean and new compared to the usual grayish torn towels that you see in budget inns. But please be reminded that the facility is very basic. No television in standard rooms. The blanket is also not too warm to protect you from the chills. The location of the pension house is also in a poor residential area so you'll have to walk in a poorly lighted street towards the highway. But overall, for its price, it is still a good place. I ended up going back for another night.

one of the best hotels i got in the philippines ”
really nice, as this was one of my best hotel in the pholippines in this range of price. i don't know about the food as i did'nt eat there. Hotels in this category in the Philippines are normally ranging from very dirty to dirty. it was not the case for this one which was very clean. i stayed 2 months in that country and visited many places.

Accessible home from the city”
This is very accessible to Lacson Street -- where a lot of the good restaurants are located. The ihawan in front of the Pension House serves cheap and good inasal, isaw, etc.

The basic room only has cold water. Spend an additional 100php for hot shower Just a bath towel - no face cloth or hand towel Just hand soap bar no shampoo No other amenities available Room does have AC tho'! Very friendly and helpful staff Good solid delicious Filipino comfort food in the canteen at a very reasonable price! Excellent location short jeepny rides to anywhere you want to go Or use a 'Grab' cab (I didn't try for Uber) Am definitely staying here again!
