The Castle of Odawara”

Close to Odawara train station. Lots of shops, restaurants, convenience stores. There's a castle @ Odawara. Bicycle parking in the garage. Lots of hot water & good water pressure. Strong wifi. Solidly built bunks of wood w/partitions for privacy. Lounge area. Only thing to note: everyone must leave the hostel between noon & 4pm.

Small Hostel”

It’s a very small and very cute hostel. Don’t come here expecting a lot of space for bags etc. The place is nice, beds are comfy, it’s a good hostel.

Cute use of space”

It's a small spot, with a nice use of space. No safe, but classic hostel with bunk beds. Unfortunately the front desk is closed for a prime time of the day, which was inconvenient.

Good”

Maybe I had my expectations too high, coming from another hostel in tokyo. It's definitely not the place to stay long term and I'm only glad I was there for one night. The place is clean and simple but very very small. Staff seem to be foreigners and do not seem like they're there to help. The toilets can be shared by both males and females which felt a bit strange to me. Thankfully I took a shower at the hot spring in Hakone so I didn't have to take a bath here.

If you are travelling with medium or large size luggage, I would not recommend this place. It's a long walk from JR station and the room is really small. I stay in 5 bed room and I think it can only accomodate 3 luggage (standing up). Fortunately, I just need a place to sleep before catching an early morning train.

The hostel is near Odawara Station. The entrance is in second floor of a building, but the staff gave me a detailed instructions on how to get to the hostel so it was easy to find it.

Value for money for solo travellers!”

Convenient location near the Odawara station (accessible by shinkansen, local JR lines and Odakyu lines). Very good base for exploring Odawara and Hakone! It is a normal dormitory so it is small and there isn't much space for opening of luggage. The hostel also does not provide towels. But the hostel was clean and the staff were friendly so overall still a good stay especially if you just need a clean bed and shower room!

遠出していてその日のうちに家に帰り着けないため利用しました。オーナーさんも親切で、チェックイン時間ギリギリでしたが連絡して少しだけ待ってもらえました。 小さいけど居心地がいいホステルでした。

スタッフの方の対応は人当たりも良く全く問題ありません。が、初めて訪れる際に連絡を入れるなどの記載がないため入り口でごたついた。 設備も基本的に寝るためだけのものとしては問題なかったかが、トイレが臭ったりシャワールームのマットがカビまみれなどの衛生的に不快な点が多かった。 また、隣がバーのため深夜を過ぎてもうるさい事が多い。 基本的にホステルのため仕方ないが、残念な人と被ってしまうと共用部での談笑等も0時を回っても続きお酒が入ってるせいかうるさい。客のマナーもたかが知れてる。 ふんわりとしたルールしかなく明確なルールを定めていないためそのような事が起きるのだろう。 宿泊ついでに、見ず知らずの人との出会いや全く騒音を気にしない人であればベッドもしっかりしているので良いと思う。 しかし、そうではなくただ単に寝る場所が欲しいというのであれば、同じ料金を払うのであれば漫画喫茶の方がマシであろう。

大人の雰囲気”

ホステルで来られてた方々が大人の雰囲気で静かにいい雰囲気で過ごせましたが、満室になるとシャワールームは2つ、洗面台もそのシャワールームにしかないので朝時間に余裕を持たないと誰かが使っていると雄に30分は待つことになります。ルームの壁が薄いのでドアの開け閉め足音は聞こえます。以上の事が気にならないなら最高です。
