I stay there at 20/4/2022 for 1 night for business, i tried many hotel at hue city, this one is the best. Reasonable price compared with other same level hotel. Extremely good location with 50m walking distance to night market center. (All you need can find there), room is tidy and clean, air con really ok. Most important, really quiet as hotel is located at a quiet street. And thier spa foot massage is really good. Really friendly service. I really like their vietnamese fried noodle with egg as breakfast and the hotel owner stand by there. Just like getting back to home

We loved our stay. The staff were absolutely amazing. They helped us book a DMZ tour, and since we left early for the tour they made breakfast one hour earlier just for us. Rooms were big and nice, and very good value for money. We got new towels and water everyday. Staff also helped us book train tickets and taxi. And they made everything with a smile. Would absolutely come again.

Great value for money”
The room had all the necessary basics, it was very clean and the toiletries were quite nice. The staff was really helpful and friendly. You can easily rent motorbikes or book tours at the hotel. The location is great, right in the centre of the city and only a two minute walk to the main road with lots of restaurants and cafes. And to top it off, it's surprisingly inexpensive for the offered quality.

A very comfortable stay with helpful staff”
We have been travelling through South East Asia for several weeks and this was one of our favorite places! The room was very clean and comfortable for the budget traveller. The staff are very inviting and arranged a day trip to the Imperial City and the tombs for us which we thoroughly enjoyed. The breakfast was really nice too with delicious fresh fruit

Overpriced and dirty”
We booked a deluxe room but had to stay in a basic room (seperate beds) for the first night because of airco-problems. In the deluxe room. Not really a problem, but the room was not very clean (top of closet, under the beds, bathroom). Also there was a huge cockroach. After ons night, we were transferred to the deluxe room; bathroom was still a mess (soap package from previous guest, mold on the edges and showerhead-holder broken). Also, in de corridor in de plant pots there are cigarette buds. Lady from the reception was nice, breakfast was mediocre. Don't choose banana pancake.

Dark and damp”
Hugely disappointing. The room we booked and shown first was damp and had a horrible mouldy smell that hit you as soon as the door was opened. Bathroom had a large wet patch of mould on the ceiling. Shown another room that was only slightly better but still smelt of damp. Toilet area was soaking water (appears cleaning involves just spraying water around the bathroom) Beware also the Hotel is situated down a dark backstreet. Breakfast in the adjoining cafe was okay.

I booked but when checking in, staff said to me that my room is not available because they sell for others. When i was so tired after a long trip to come there, that's all i was answered from them. I had no choice to find other hotel with price i must accept because it was too late at that time. I was so disappointed and sad. Hope that all you won't face to bad sitiation like me. So please consider to book and wish my friends being reading my review a good trip. Gook luck!

Nice budget hotel with friendly staff”
Poetic Hue hotel is located in the tourist area which is very convenient. The staff is very helpful and moved us to a room in a lower level floor to accommodate my elderly mother. The free breakfast was delicious and abundance with options of eggs and toast or noodles with a choice of juice and a plate of fruits. With the price, location and the friendly staff, this is a good place to stay while you stay in Hue.

Our time staying in The Poetic Hue hostel was really good. Our room was very clean and spacious even being sold as a basic room. The staff are friendly. Especially Lan, she was so nice and helpful! She even bought my partner a birthday cake for when we arrived. So thoughtful! The breakfast on the rooftop was great in the morning and it's a nice place to relax in the evening with a good view of Hue. Not too noisy either as it's not right on the main walking street.
