I truly enjoyed my stay at Point A, Edinburg. Hotel is at an ideal location, excellent value for money. Staff were very friendly and helpful through out my booking and stat. Very clean hotel and room nice and cosy.

Weekend stay ”
I was so impressed with the hotel, the location is fantastic - not far from the Christmas markets and the train station. The staff were so incredibly helpful and the room was spacious and tidy. I would highly recommend staying here if you want a nice well located hotel for a city break.

Great location,clean, funky room. Only wish they'd had a kettle in the room, yes you can go downstairs but you're not going to trundle downstairs for a cuppa early morning in your PJs to bring up to get ready with! All in all good hotel and would stay again!

Great value for money ”
We stayed 3 nights and had a pleasant time there. We got the double room and it was quite small however you get what you pay for - we also weren’t in the hotel much. We had a stain at the top on our bed sheet, we didn’t bother asking them to change our sheet but it would be good if they check the bedding to ensure it’s clean. Good location in between old town and new town. Good 15-20 min walk to most places. Lots of cafes in Haymarket if you walk towards the Haymarket station if you want breakfast

Great value for money, cool West End location ”
We stayed here for 2 nights for a little city break. Check in (and out) was really easy, the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was pleasantly larger than we were expecting, with a double bed, couch/tv, and space in the entryway. We thought it was great value for money and the location in the west end was great, easy walking to everything: Deans Village, Stockbridge, the Old Town, and up to Holyrood. Our room faced the road but we couldn’t hear any traffic at all. The only downside was that we could hear the pipes when rooms around us were showering, but it was fine. Would definitely stay again!

Great, modern hotel with fantastic staff”
We had a 4 night stay and absolutely loved our stay. The staff were so warm and fr1iendly, genuinely enjoying talking to you, giving suggestions and helping with special requests and needs we had. The cosy room with window was great. If you read the description and reviews before booking then there is no reason to be disappointed, in fact we were surprised just how nice the place was! We didn't care that the window was onto an alley/side road because it was nice to have daylight and we weren't staying in the room all day. The room was surprisingly spacious compared to what we expected. Clever storage, shelves and hangers for a few main clothes. Bed was super comfy and the room and hotel was spotless. We loved being able to control the room thermostat and AC plus the modern technology, having fun playing around with the mood lighting which changed colours and brightness. WiFi signal was great, lots of power sockets, hairdryer and an ironing room nearby if needed. The TV had normal channels, on demand and allowed us to Chromecast Netflix, Prime, YouTube etc from our devices once we learnt how to do so. Couldn't ask for more really. Very handy having a 24hr properly manned reception and bar so that late night soft drinks, drinks and snacks could be bought. Nice lounge and reception area to relax, watch TV or have a drink. It's a 10min walk to the castle but quite a few buses coming past the hotel and so many food and drink places 2 min walk away that we were spoilt for choice. One of the nicest city hotels we've ever been to and we will definitely go back if in Edinburgh again!
