Outstanding stay with the best hosts in SE Asia”
For once, I actually find it hard to find the right words to describe just how fantastic our stay was. Vy and Hoi really are the most special and amazing hosts on our entire tour of SE Asia. From the second we arrived we was blown away by how gorgeous the setting of their farm is. Vy and Hoi both gave us a very warm welcome and insisted we must treat Pomelo Garden as our home. And that's exactly how it felt for our entire 7 night stay; home. The rooms are spacious, exceptionally clean, beds are really comfy, pillows are soft and bathroom is modern and with plenty of hot water. Housekeeping will clean your room at a time suitable for you. So if you don't go out until the evening, housekeeping will wait to clean until then. No knocking on your door like most hotels. The surroundings are Vy's family shrimp farm which make a fantastic setting for the four guest rooms they have. There are some many beautiful flowers scattered around the ground which are all perfectly looked after. The location is about 5-10 minutes out of Hoi An town which is perfect. Its away from the hustle and bustle of the town and immersed in the idyllic scenery of the local villages. We was provided with a moped we could rent and this was great for getting around. What really made our stay however, was Vy and Hoi themselves. They really are exceptional hosts! Nothing is any trouble to them, they take the time to explain things to you and always go out of their way to make sure that you are comfortable and happy. One day we asked how much passion fruit should cost at the market and Vy insisted that his wife Hoi would go and select the best passionfruit for us from Hoi An town. Gestures like this are what made our stay feel like a 5* experience. They are never in your face, but always there when you need them which is just what we like. On our last night we was invited to have a freshly cooked Vietnamese dinner made by Hoi and the food was so delicious, and again we was so humbled to be treated

Beautiful, relaxing villa runned by the sweetest couple”
Our stay at the Pomelo Garden Villa was amazing!! So good we even extended our stay from 3 to 6 nights. The couple who is running the place is so friendly and will go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. They’re are the sweetest people we’ve met so far in Vietnam. They created a vegan breakfast especially for us which was really delicious and fresh. We could use the bicycles for free and they also helped with scooter rental. The pool is very relaxing, surrounded by the beautiful garden, and the room (suite) we’ve stayed in is very big and clean, has a really comfy bed and a lovely bathtub. Needless to say that we highly recommend this place in a quiet area in Hoi An!! Thank you for everything!!

The owners, Vy and Hoi, are very attentive and gracious hosts and provide delivious breakfast, arrange taxi and private drivers as needed,m. They are always ready to help with any need during the stay. The resort is a shrimp farm with 4 ponds, small sweet potato garden, and swimming pool. You will find Pomelo a wonderful experience.

An absolute delight!”
This was certainly one of the highlights of our travels in SE Asia. The bedrooms which look out over the shrimp ponds and quaint gardens are lavish, spacious and the furnishings tastefully done. It is situated in a peaceful area outside Hoi An but within easy reach to the centre. This can be done by bicycle which the guest house offers free of charge or by a taxi which is inexpensive and quick for the villa to arrange. The beach is also an easy cycle from the guest house as are many lovely restaurants and bars. It was just wonderful to sit out on the patio and enjoy the delicious breakfasts served with fresh baguettes and scrumptious homemade passion fruit jam! We enjoyed all our meals at the Villa, each made with love and care. The owners, Vy and Loai are the most friendly, efficient and capable couple and the many years that they have spent in the hospitality industry has paid off. The result is an extremely beautiful and well run villa that I can’t praise highly enough. Thank you, we so enjoyed our stay!

We really enjoyded our stay in Pomelo Garden. Staff are professionals in customer service. Location in countryside between town and the beach was perfect for us. It was nice to stay in peaceful place but it was still easy to reach both with free bicycles. We also took part to cooking class which was well managed and nice experience for us. Pomelo Garden is the best place where we have stayed so far! Highly recommended for everyone who are ok with location!

Lovely little hideaway”
We had a great time relaxing at Pomelo Homestay. Loved the pool and the garden. Since they have a limjted number of rooms it feels very private. The staff were very friendly and helpful! It is a bit of a ride from town on a bike in the heat but absolutely worth it if you want to escape the crowded town and relax during your stay. Can absolutely recommend it!

A little gem”
Imagine four rooms from a four star hotel dropped into semi rural Vietnam, add your own verandah looking out over a fish pond and a flower garden, add owners who care about their guests comfort and you have this little gem. We can't say enough about the five days we stayed there last week. It is an oasis of calm away from the buzz of HoiAn, but not too far that you can't bicycle in on the free bikes. It is also in bicycling distance of the beaches. The rooms are neat and clean, the bed super comfortable, and the breakfasts are varied and a good size - we particularly enjoyed the fresh baguette with homemade passion fruit jam and the Vietnamese noodles. When we left the entire family waved us off, what four star hotel would do that?

Comfortable, tasteful rural homestay”
What a pleasant couple running the Pomelo. The rooms are very clean and nice and you couldn't feel more immersed in the countryside (at least not without also feeling less comfortable!). It's a pretty amazing value and the owners have really thought of everything and avoided the cheesiness that foreign travelers tend not to like. Highly recommended!

This hotel treat customer really well. Of course hotel is really neat and tidy as they respect customer. This hotel really cared and supported us to have beautiful time in Hoian. The hotel, pool and surroundings were absolutely stunning. We have spent our time relaxing and enjoying the fantastic natural surroundings. The host family is the nicest most hospitable host we ever met. So professional and kind! Breakfasr and lunch are a delight. Big and beautiful rooms and a soft bed. Owners are a couple who live with their extended family on the premises. The whole premises belong to parents, and comprise a prawn farm with pools for prawns, tourist accommodation (modern and comprehensive - 4 separate suites), and home for their families. NOTHING is too much trouble. EVERYTHING is wonderful about the place. 4km to the centre of town, and 10 mins by taxi (arrives at venue within 10 mins). 2km to best beach. Drive past paddy-fields to access the house Arranged day of massage for the boss, and she enjoyed it so much, she spent the whole day there. Knowledgeable about the area and also the needs of tourists, and both were previously employed as tour operators. English is spoken very well. Breakfast is brilliant - Vietnamese or European, and the fresh fruit ... wow! One night the owners were trawling their pond for the mature catch of prawns, and invited us to be present. It was a great thing to see and they extracted 50kg of prawns that night, having extracted about 200kg on a previous night. What a joyful experience, and you might be lucky to experience it if you get a chance to stay here (they have 2+ catches per season). Resort - what's the point? Can do that in Spain, or the West Indies, and you will miss the beauty of staying with a beautiful Vietnamese family. YOU GOTTA STAY HERE!

- Pomelo garden have the most perfect hosts, when we arrived they said they want us to feel like it is our second home and we felt exactly that! - 10/10 breakfast and lunch/dinner food. We ate at the hotel every day for lunch! - the room is beautiful. Very spacious and clean - The pool is spotless - They booked every taxi for us&helped with the ba na hills transport - The grounds that the hotel is located on is beautiful - Free bikes! - Nothing was too much hassle for them! Even offering to print our visas out for us for cambodia! 10/10 stay highly recommend to everyone!
