Historic and small but great location”
The hotel has one of the best locations in the city being so closely located to the water, parks, shopping, dining, entertainment, all of it. Parking is in a garage a few blocks away and a daily rate that you don’t get validated, so that’s a bummer. Our room was small but you shouldn’t be staying in your room when there’s so much stuff to do anyway. The rooms were clean but aged so you can’t do much about that type of “dirt”, it’s just part of the charm. Beds and pillows were clean and super comfortable. The bathroom was small but, again you shouldn’t need to spend so much time in the bathroom when there’s so much stuff to do outside the hotel. I would stay here again.

It's a Cute Old Hotel”
I'm not a picky person. The hotel is run down, but it is in the BEST SPOT for St. Pete. You are in Walking distance to a ton of bars and restaurants! There is a pizza spot for late night eating after a night of drinking. The pier is within walking distance too! There is no gym or pool. The beds are awful, but it's a place to sleep and lay your head. It has a style that I love and the hotel captures it perfectly. Staff is super friendly. The maids do not speak English, so get your translator out. They are super friendly too. The room has a small fridge, I usually bring a cooler. I love this hotel. It's eclectic!

The place smelled like mold -mildew. Heighten my allergies. Music at the bar was mediocre. Rooms were basic . Bed very low to the ground and could use new mattress . Small old elevator.

The room (307) was strange the moment we walked in. The first thing you notice is the queen bed is 14" from the floor to the top of the mattress. All the mirrors, including the mirror over the sink in the bathroom, the height is set for someone 4' 11". We got in late, so there was no reason to check the shower when we got in. In the morning though, when we went to shower, there was NO water working in the shower. They really should have refunded a minimum of 60%, they gave us 15%. I would not recommend this hotel.

This is a historic building in a great area but this place is terrible. The elevator was broken. I had heave bags for international travel and had to use the stairs. The lobby is old and run down. The hallway smelled very stale. The room smelled bad. There was mold on the bathroom ceiling. The toilet seat was broken. The furniture was miss matched and from every decade the renovations were very amateurish. It’s sad because this place is in a great location.

Thin walls. Definitely heard a lady orgasm to completion so that was fun. Loud A/C to the point I had to turn it off despite it being near 80 degrees last night. Cheap, low bed.. move too fast and the frame might break. Oh and best of all the elevators are broke. Had the nerve to place me on the 5th floor. Couldn’t bring in my luggage. Was offered ZERO help. I can’t wait to get home and file these BBB & FTC complaints!!!!

You will love everything about this charming hotel”
situated in the heart of downtown st. petersburg close to all the museums and within walking distance to charming cafe's and bars, shops and movie theaters. this hotel sits close to the water in an upscale, safe and very walkable area of downtown st.petersburg. the room was spacious and clean with a fantastic shower, lots of hot water and bottled water waiting for us in the room. the staff were very friendly and welcoming. they guided us to a very reasonable breakfast cafe close by which served delicious food.

Older hotel ”
The hotel is definitely older and needs a major renovation. But for the money and location, it’s fine, especially if you plan on being out and about most of the time. The first room we received the bed was incredibly low and my husband is 6 foot and we asked if we could get a different room and they accommodated us with a better room and a beautiful view.
