"This is the 4th time I have stayed here . The proximity to Birmingham airport is great . The staff are friendly and the bar offers good food and drink at normal bar prices . Over night car parking is free too . "

"The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a hotel shuttle which goes to Birmingham Airport/Rail Station every half hour from 5am to 10pm. This make it very easy to go to Birmingham downtown within half an hour spin of time. The food in the hotel restaurant is excellent and great for value. I have full English breakfast every morning and it's great; for dinner, I highly recommend "Grilled Salmon". The shuttle drivers are very helpful, they gave me a lot of sightseeing suggestions, and I travelled to Solihull which is a great place to shop and hang around on a sunny English Summer day. For art deco fan, be sure not to miss this hotel which used to be the old Birmingham Airport Office Building back in 1930s, then Excelsior Hotel in 1940s. It is classified as heritage building now. Overall, an excellent stay for me and will go back again if I travel to Birmingham again."

"The hotel has lots of facilities for me to use. One of the highlights of the hotel for me is the taxi that they provide from the hotel. The taxis are Mercedes Benz E-Class and the fare is relatively cheap compare to many other taxi company. For such a big hotel, the staff are very efficient. They very friendly and also helpful. The location is ideal for me because it's located next to the NEC which means that it will be quiet at night rather then the city. If I do need to get into the city, they provide shuttle bus to Birmingham international train station which has regular service to the city itself. Another alternative is using the taxi which cost me less than 20 pounds in a very comfy ride. "
