Conrad Tokyo
Ginza,Ginza - View on map
"The hotel is a short walk to the local station, maybe five to ten minutes. You can walk to Ginza Mitsukoshi in twenty minutes and the fish market in fifteen. You must visit the market in the day, bustling, crowded and fascinating. At night it is quiet but the sushi restaurants are amazing. So the hotel is well located. It is spotless, very well cleaned. The facilities are good, the restaurants are very nice, but maybe not the best, hence four rather than five stars. However the sushi bar was amazing, a bit expensive, but great fun and tasty. The room was well laid out, good sized lounge, comfy bed and great bathroom. The receptionist, Yukiko, was the best I have experienced in a five star or any star hotel around the world, and I have stayed in a few. She combined politeness, friendliness, helpfulness and patience, an absolute star."

The Peninsula Tokyo

"A busy city hotel in a very central location. Outstanding and exemplary service, in particular the concierge team and front desk team, from pre- arrival communications to during the stay. Despite last minute requests, the capable Concierge team diligently ploughed through my extensive list of restaurants and managed to secure bookings at some of the top restaurants in Tokyo (including some 3 Michelin stars). The Concierge team also managed to offer advice (such as which restaurants in my list did not measure up, which I appreciate). The team also offered “insider” knowledge, enabling me to visit Enoshima efficiently during the crowded Obon week. Room is very well appointed. Pool, spa and sauna facilities are great. Laundry services are impeccable. The hotel was very busy during my stay and it’s a wonder how they manage to maintain this level of personalised service. The front desk and concierge also appear to remember your names. What kind of sorcery is this ? "

Imperial Hotel Tokyo

"It has been my favourite for the past few years. One of the oldest and prestigious 5 star hotel in Ginza area. It is situated close to the Imperial palace which makes it even more exclusive. Service needless to speak is good, 5 star hotel at a 6 star service level. "

Courtyard Tokyo Station
Ginza,Ginza - View on map
"We needed a Tokyo hotel to gather ourselves before flying from Narita to Gold Coast, Qld. The Courtyard is less than 10 minutes from Tokyo Station and tourist bus tours etc. It is 20 minutes stroll to the Imperial Palace and 10 minutes to Ginza shopping district. The hotel's restaurant has a wide spread of offerings and prices. Staff were english-speaking, bright, young and helpful. We had a queen room which was fine for a couple but not big enough to include a dining table with two chairs - this is a room for resting and as a tourism base, not for room service. Opened in 2014, it is still new and unworn, convenient and affordable."
