Perfect base to explore Cao Bang”
The hosts were very nice, especially Anh. She knows just enough english and use google translate to recommend places to eat and to see. I stayed there 6 nights, as it was totally hasle free : I could rent a good semi-auto motorbike there, ride and choose to spend the night in BaoLac or somewhere else, or decide at the last minute to come back. They were very flexible, accommodating with my changing schedules, and kept my backpack during my motorbike loops. The place is very clean, the bedcheets are frequently washed and changed, bathrooms at each floor are clean with hot shower. There's also a rooftop. The place's location is ideal, close to the main street of Cao Bang where they block traffic on week ends to let children play on it. Small but authentic and charming town. In the end Anh arranged my bus and dropped me at the bus station, as she did for the other rare guests. Would definitely stay again.

The rooms were super clean and nicely decorated. They didn't have attached toilet or bathroom, one floor had one shared bathroom which really was not a problem for us. The couple who hosted us were super darling. They were so excited about our channel in youtube. And also they drove us to the bus station without charging extra. They were real good people. They also had a kitchen where you can heat up your food or even can cook for yourself.

Fantastic stay feeling homely”
Room is lovely and clean with personal locker beneath the bed. Toilet is clean with all the amenities. The standard here is high! Love the friendliness and warmth of the boss and lady boss. They do their best to make my stay comfortable and help me all they can. Thanks for arranging the best transport from caobang to langson for me!

Best homestay ever!!!”
You can find a regular homestay anywhere but you will find the best hospitality here. The owners went out of their way to make our stay as much comfy as possible. They showed us the best places to eat and buy local gifts. Plus, almost all the best local food places locate within walking distance from their place. They even gave us a ride to the bus station when we went back to Hanoi. We indeed felt like home staying with them. Book a place at Primrose and you can't go wrong! Cám ơn cô chú nhiều ạ!

Amazing host and stay”
The host is amazing, I have a bad cut on my leg and she cleaned and bandaged it for me. In addition she cooked the guests meals because the restaurants are closed for lunar New Year. One of the most amazing hosts I have had during my time in Asia. I would not stay anywhere else if I come back to Cao Bang

Hostel owners were really nice and warm. The dorms and the shower were extra clean which I truly appreciated. Had a shitty day on the road and it was nice to have a warm shower when I got there.

Best hostess in Cao Bang”
I must say, I really felt well taken care of during my stay here because of the nice lady who owns the place. She has a a book of recommendations for tours and restaurants around the place. She can also cook breakfast for 20,00 VND and milk coffee for 20,000. Very cheap price. She also gave me advise on how to go to Ban Gioc Waterfall and Nguom Ngao Cave and booked me a bus going back to Hanoi. Lovely place, bed was nice and comfortable with charming fairy lights.

Recommended.... Owner so kind n helpful. We involved in minor accident on the way back from ban gioc waterfall, owner help us dressing our wound, thank you again. Owner also help us booking bus back to hanoi and send us to bus station free of charge. Room quite spacious and nice decoration. Clean toilet and got hot water.

Lady was super nice. Speak a bit english but her daughter speaks well and you can communicate by messenger with her. We rent a bike and it was old one and we had an issue two times. Once we couldnt start the engine up as there was problem with connection and second time we had a flat tire (caused by old tire not us) but each time on fb messenger I wrote them. They were immediately ready and spoke to local people over the phone who we stopped who helped us and brought us to mechanic and lady felt so sorry and gave us also money for repair work back. What we really appreciated as it was not our fault. Room was cute and cosy. We shared a bathroom but it was always clean. Shampoo and tooth paste provided. Hair dryer on request. Would appreciate breakfast included for the price. But overall it was one of the better place we have stayed so far in Vietnam.

Nice staff and nice rooms”
This homestay is very close to the bus station and also to eating places. The staff was very willing at giving me information about what to visit and how! The rooms are very nice and lightened with lovely Christmas lights in this period. I recommend it, but just remember that there's no breakfast at the homestay, you can get it around the area!

Excellent homestay”
Very friendly woman who lives there. I visited over the tet new year holiday and she made everyone in the hostel (6 of us) dinner twice and she wasn’t even going to charge us for it. I did have to insist upon checking out that she takes some money for the excellent hospitality. Highly recommend

Quality hostel in Cao Bang”
Primrose is in a good location, right next to the market and up the road from a string of cheap, local roadside eateries. The dorm is clean and super cute, privacy curtains and little fairy lights above my bunk, I loved it. Great AC, and really clean and spacious bathroom. Myself and two friends enjoyed a few drinks on their rooftop, which was wonderful. Great place to stay a night or two in this stopover town!

Exceptional Service”
We really enjoyed our stay. The host was very accommodating and helped me see a doctor. We stayed in the double room which was lovely. The second night moved to the dorm room and that was just as good except one annoying guest who came in and out of the room until 3am. But typical dorm room. I'd stay here again purely for the amazing host taking time off her day job to escort me to see a doctor. You will be looked after at this home stay for sure. Thank you Primose homestay.

Clean, cozy and friendly!”
We enjoyed our stay here, and are appreciative of their warm welcome and very polite services especially Phuong Anh and her parent :) They helped us with the booking of bus back to Hanoi, motorbike and taxi with very reasonable prices. The homestay has basic facilities, with a kitchen for guest use.
