          Couple with Toddler”

Best three things about this hotel were the location, the relatively private courtyard and the breakfast included

We really enjoyed our stay at Imperial college Princes Gardens. We stayed in Linstead hall. We were travelling with an toddler, and found our stay to be very enjoyable. We were provided with a baby cot/crib at no extra charge which was great. The private courtyard made late evening walks to help get our little one to sleep really easy. Our room was small, but that is pretty typical of london accommodations. The included breakfast was also a really great deal and had lots of options so we were always able to get our little one something to eat from our trays. The location is amazing. So close to Hyde park, many museums, south kensington tube and high street kensington. We were able to access the museums as soon as they opened and avoid long lines. Overall we felt this is a great value for london accommodations and would definitely stay there again.

Perfect location for Hyde Park and central London.”

Great location, plentiful breakfast, excellent value

What a find. We were attending 2 events in Hyde Park and this place was just down the road, literally 5 minutes walk from one of the side entrances to the park. Check-in was very busy but staff dealt with people quickly and efficiently and provided little maps of how to locate your accommodation and breakfast the next morning. Breakfast was of good quality and plentiful: 5 hot items, toast or croissant, a bowl of cereal or fruit and a cup of tea or coffee. The rack rate showed as £119 for a double but we had a deal online for £73 and this included breakfast. Rooms were spotless, fairly small but with plenty of electric sockets and storage. Bathroom was also spotless albeit small (you had to go past the toilet before you could close the door. Towels and toiletries were provided, the only thing I missed from an hotel was a TV or radio as we like to have some background noise in the room when we get up and when preparing to go out. Many people travel with an I-pod or the like though so I'm sure this wouldn't be a problem. I will definitely be looking to use Imperial College rooms again in future. The best value I've found in central London for years.

Great Location with decent price! ”

The location in so convenient and it is located in the heart of London. and I can just get to there by tube with a 10 mins walk. I can get to the centre of London in 30 mins and every tourist spots are easy to get to. There are lots of museums around the accommodation that you can only have to walk to there in 5 mins. Besides the location, I like the room as well. It's clean and neat. It is great that there is a bathroom in every room which you don't have to share with others. Although the shower room is a little bit small, you have to stand very carefully without getting your hair get wet, when the day you don't have to wash your hair. I love that there is a laundry room in the basement then I don't have to find one outside of the prince's garden. The staffs are also very helpful, polite and patient in reception. I appreciate that the day I had to print some documents. They helped me to print one. For the price, I must say it is exceedingly cheap to afford in the centre of London. In general, Prince's Garden is an ideal place to live in. Not sure if they still have the accommodation for other period but if you come to London during the summer, it's my first choice to pick.

          Great”

Overall I enjoyed my stay at Princes Gardens very much. The location is perfect, having South Kensington station with Piccadilly, Circle and District line in walking distance. Two things I would add: I couldn't find any decent supermarket around the hotel (maybe I was walking in the wrong direction) - but this is nothing that Princes Gardens can do about. And the other thing is that I didn't find the luggage drop-off very trustworthy and I was happy both times that my suitcase was still there. I didn't have the impression that someone really cared about who picks up a piece of luggage, and if this was the owner. Also it was openly accessible. Other than that, I would definitely stay there again!

          location, location and location

Although the accommodation is very basic without TV or radio, the room was very spacious and very clean. The hotel is located near Hyde Park, Science/Natural History Museums, Embassies and very central. You cannot find anything as good vale in the area full stop. We were not too concerned about having no tv/radio in the room as there are loads of things to do and visit in London. We will definitely go back again.

          Pleasant Stay”

Prime location, Clean and good Rate

As a solo traveller, I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and am impressed. The hotel is located in central London which is convenient for getting around. There are a lot of attractions nearby such as Geography National Museum, Science Musuem, V&A Musuem and Hyde Park. In the surrounding area, one can also find many international restaurants. South Kensington Tube Station is just across the street. The atmosphere in the hotel is comfortable, it's modern but warm which is good for travellers who like privacy. The room is adequate and clean. There are some facilities such as daily room-cleaning, tourist information, bar&restaurant, convenience store and elevator in the buildings. The rate is good option for budget travellers and it includes European breakfast which tastes good.

Imperial College London - Falmouth Hall”

          Great location, affordable, comfortable

Clean and comfortable accommodation in South Kensington. Single en-suite room overlooking Princess Gardens was perfect for a 3 night stay in London. Towels, toiletries, kettle, tea/coffee and water were supplied and room was serviced every day. A decent breakfast is served cafeteria style in one of the student common rooms - it gets busy and there is a bit of queuing involved but all part of the student campus experience. Short walk to the museums, Albert Hall and Knightsbridge and a short bus/tube ride away from central London. Check out on departure day is 1000 but you can leave luggage in the reception area while you pick up last minute souvenirs. Excellent value for money and I will definitely stay here again.

Reception is open 24 hrs which is great as we arrived during the night. rooms basic but clean and adequate as you do not visit London to stay in your room. Reasonable close to South Kensington Tube Station and a stones throw from Kensington High Street, Kensington Palace and Hyde Park. Breakfast Buffet was good with plenty of choice. They will keep your bags after checkout which is a good point.

          7 stars service”

Very helpful during my emergencies, room is comfortable, and location

This is a 7 stars hotel for me. I had a terrible fall in Hyde Park and the whole Imperial College staff came to my assistance. The night security guard did an excellent first aid on me. The health clinic doctor and nurse were so skillful in bandaging me up well. The college staff took care of all my mishaps from losing my phone to my injuries. Everyone was so helpful that I did not lose any time in enjoying my holidays. The room was very comfortable, looking over a wonderful square. The cleaning staff kept everything orderly and clean. The bed was firm and the shower pressure was good. Besides the great location and the neat room, the staff is first rate. I have immense gratitude to all the people that works for summer accommodations. Thank you Steve(security), Carl, Tom and others who have helped me during my hour of need. You are my 7 stars hotel.

The hotel for all your needs”

          1)location,2)price,3)facilities

Me and a friend of mine wanted a cheap hotel that is located in central London, then I found this hotel. We just wanted our own room with personal WC, not a shared bathroom, like most of budget hotels in London. Upon arrival, we were shock how good located the hotel is and it's nice and peaceful surroundings. We felt safe (2 young women in their early 20's). We were really didn't care if they are not cleaning everyday, but during our stay they did room cleaning everyday. The hotel is more like a dormitory styled. You have the full responsibility to your room. Which we prefered. The area's are good too. Restaurants, tube (south kensington), bus stops, museums (science museum and victoria&albert museum), Albert Hall, Harrods and Harvey Niccols Mall are just minutes away. There's a church nearby too. And if you like to walk. Oxford st. is like 2 blocks away. A very easy access to everthing. Love this hotel and ganna stay here again.

Spacious room! Friendly staff and nice garden view

It was great staying in this hotel ! We enjoy it very much ! The room is big and clean. Nice view from the room. If you want to use Wifi, you just need to pay 5 pounds and you can use it throughout your whole period of stay. Good breakfast provided and it is very close to kensington palace and Hyde park. It is also close to Harrods!! I will defenitely recommend it to my friends to stay in this hotel.

          Great location but no charm”

Princes Gardens is a great place to stay as its right in the heart of London with easy transports to all the best places. Furthermore a little walk away, at the entrance to tube station are loads of places to eat. The rooms are clean and a good sizes for central London and the price is very reasonable. There are a few setbacks, the main one being it has no charm or class and the feel was very much of a hostel. However, if you want a large, clean room with en-suit and low prices then this is highly recommended. On the other hand if you want a place with charm and great loads of staff then you will be disappointed. For want I wanted it was perfect, but not a place where I would take my wife for a romantic get away!

If you're a solo-traveller, this might be the place for you. Coming by bus, this place is two stops away from Victoria Coach station. All you need is a warm shower and a cozy bed after a day exploring. Very clean as accommodation is also used by students. Decent breakfast with enough choices to get the day started. Two big museums (NHM and V&A museum) are a walking distance away, as is Hyde Park.

great location(close to museums, tube station and hyde park), nice morning meal and decent price for nights

i love the place(south kesington) where imperial college prince gardens was located. it was clean and quiet city, no one drunken or gone mad. I like the garden infront of the room and dining bar on the first floor of the building where we can grab something at night. But i was not happy about cleaning my room. one of my towels was there unchanged.

          Great location, great price”

          location, practicality, free breakfast

I was very happy with my summer stay in a student room at Imperial College (this is not a hotel, but simply student rooms that are being let out to visitors over the holiday periods). The rate was extremely competitive for central London and I got a clean room that was spacious enough for my needs and a hassle-free check-in. I was also very impressed with the free breakfast at the student cafeteria the day after my arrival, but unfortunately on the following day I arrived about 20 minutes after the start of breakfast and the queue stretched outside into the street. I decided to grab breakfast elsewhere instead. Still, this is an extremely good deal for staying in such a central area of London and I will definitely make use of their facilities again.

good service, good location, good price

fuss free check in, good and well-worth internet connection (5pounds for the whole stay for 2 devices as compared to the 20pounds 3g sim card price tag). breakfast was not buffet style but the allowed food limits were more than sufficient. if you are not full, there is always endless toasted bread options. Location was within 5min walk from south kensington station where there are 3 lines to choose from. this is quite good for us as there was several line closures during our stay. and having more options on the tube,we were largely unaffected by the train problems. hotel was also walking distance to harrods where we spent a bomb on just biscuits and tea. would definitely come back to stay when visiting london in the future
