Great location for getting to NEC. Food was excellent and great value. The staff were really helpful, polite and professional. The room was clean and comfortable but a little dated. The shower was only a trickle. However, the plus's made up for the minus's and I would definitely stay there again. Thank you

Excellent Customer Service”

We stayed at the Arden Hotel for one night as it was well located for a concert at the Resorts World Arena. The staff were very friendly and helpful right from our arrival at reception, when we ate in the bar area and when we had breakfast. We were impressed with the high standard of customer service and immaculate presentation of all staff members. However, our room could have done with a little TLC. The bathroom while adequate, would have benefited from a deep clean to remove cobwebs & floor dust. It was also noted that the protective cover on the electric towel rail was cracked and close to falling off potentially exposing the wires. In spite of these observations, we would definitely book again.

Has clearly seen better days”

If you can't get basic amenities for that price than it's not worth it. Hotel sells off designated parking to airport parking operators. Hotel guests are supposed to work on find-your-own-parking-space-anywhere else within the hotel policy. No water pressure in the showers. On the positive, staff is very courteous and helpful. Breakfast is fine.

Lovely hotel with lovely staff. There was an issue with the shower though which spoiled things a little. Water temperature varied from extremely hot to very cold, rather dangerous. This was reported but was not fixed during our stay.

Perfect for airport getaway”

I stayed 1 night prior to a flight home to Australia. The hotel is minutes from the airport as long as you take the correct exit off the freeway! The dinner was great with a nice selection of wines. Breakfast was the usual buffet style and ample. Overall an easy stay for 1 night.

Visit to NEC”

Booked to stay at the Arden as we were going to the NEC for the evening. Hotel was a short walk from Birmingham International station and NEC. Room was a good size. Bed was a bit bouncy, but comfortable. Room was clean but as a cleaner myself I did notice a few things that had been neglected. Breakfast was lovely and plenty of choice and the staff were very friendly. Would stay again.

Great airport hotel ”

This is the 4th time I have stayed here . The proximity to Birmingham airport is great . The staff are friendly and the bar offers good food and drink at normal bar prices . Over night car parking is free too .

Gluten Free”

Hotel is ideal for BIC,Genting Center,Resorts World and Airport. As a Ceoliac gluten free food was very good ,cereal and toast available for breakfast, we only ate in the bar but food was very good and it was lovely that I could chose gluten free sandwiches. My husband said it was best fish and chips he had eaten for a long time. We did not eat in the restaurant so cannot comment on it . swimming pool was very good. If in the area again would definitely stay at The Arden Hotel again and would recommend it ,rooms are a bit dated but clean and have everything you need.

Perfect for NEC/Genting arena”

stayed here for Metallica at the Genting Arena. Short easy 10 min walk to the arena. Hotel spotless, friendly staff, great bar and facilities, didn’t eat meal so can’t comment on restaurant. Breakfast was included and was perfectly fine. Room clean and comfortable with large bathroom. Nothing bad to say at all and would definately stay again.

HArdly a leasure club! ”

This is a clean and convenient place next to the airport, quiet, we didn't hear a single plane. Ask for an air conditioner if it's going to be hot, although I gather that is unusual, we were there in a heat wave! Desk staff moved us as it was quiet and so so hot! I couldn't find any sort of site map so I can only assume that the pool and small gym was the ' leasure club' not really what I was expecting, looked ok though, I didn't use it in the end.

Lovely hotel but slightly dated”

Very nice hotel, slightly dated feel and rooms very similar to a travel lodge but far better beds the staff are lovely and helpful from check in to check out we couldn't have asked for more. The Arden was just a short walk to the Arena for the gig we were there to see and we were given a map and signposts to head us in the right direction. The rooms were warmer than I would have liked but great area and cleanliness couldn't be faulted! We would definitely use the Arden again on our next visit!

Nice hotel although they tried to charge us for the room and for breakfast when we had already paid. The room was very tired with windows that didn't close properly (not good on a flight path) and the world's bounciest bed.

Pre holiday night”

The hotel is excellent value for money eye. The rooms are large and spotlessly clean. We ate in the restaurant and the food was top quality. The bar area is really nice and a good place to relax. Breakfast was very good. We will definitely stay again

A good hotel for the price”

A good hotel with very good service for the price. Room needs better ventilation or air conditioning. However, most hotels at this price do not. I personally was pleased with the hotel and would stay again.

Cleanliness and very poor condition of infer structure was an issue in leisure areas”

Chaotic dining room large queues lots of waiting, could easily have been more organised with a simple table plan so staff knew who was sitting where. Additionally large waits for most breakfast hot foods

Crusty and in need of an update.”

Too many things in the room were faulty (tv didn’t work, one of the lights flickered, the shower started dripping in the middle of the night). I got a very discounted rate on Agoda compared to booking.com or the others so at least I didn’t pay top rates, but it’s not all that.

Lacks Finishing Touches”

Chose this hotel as location to NEC is excellent 10 mins walk, The staff are friendly the hotel looks great on entrance , but do not be misled!! the rooms are unfinished cracks in the ceiling skirting boards missing lights not working, dial on radiator stiff to control heating, BEDS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE!!!!.. we paid £98 for a king room i have stayed in better budget hotels for less. We paid an extra £20 for breakfast the best part of the stay by far. the appeal to us was the free parking, spa facilities location to NEC. the rooms let this hotel down massively

In Need Of Some Serious TLC”

Inadequate and poorly designed parking. Poor quality bathroom and badly designed and in need of replacement. Carpet needs at least a good clean but should be replaced. Breakfast very good and staff friendly. Check in staff good but check out staff indifferent. Overall not worth the effort as there are better options close to the airport.

Severe noise problems at this hotel with poor soundproofing, thin walls, and constantly slamming doors. Bed was very uncomfortable.
