Summer break”

Hotel was really good. Food excellent we had a steak done to perfection. Breakfast the full Scottish. Staff excellent. 10 minutes walk to the ness. Room was in the annex bed was huge.

3 day Stay”

Myself and my fiancee stayed Saturday till Tuesday here initially on check-in we were allocated a room which was on the first floor and this was unsuitable as we found the room was badly needing upgraded and was also in need of a clean. However we were moved the same night at no extra charge and given a much better room with newer bed and bigger bathroom. We found there was various sanitisation points throughout and the swimming pool could be booked to have to ourselves which was great for a 1 hour slot although the steam room was not open due to Covid restrictions. Staff here were welcoming friendly and informative. The hotel is situated around a 15 minute walk to the town centre but the streets and the area are quiet and we didn't mind. I would say overall I would come and stay again although there is a hotel with swim facilities right down by the river Ness and town centre I would probably try next time

Staff all very good and attentive. Breakfast good, evening meal not so good. Swimming area needs refreshed, shower was frozen cold, but as we still in covid restrictions, hotel stay was over all good, with staff having to do the best they can- windows wide open etc even though it was very cold outside

Excellent hotel exceptional friendly and helpful staff can’t do enough to help you two girls in bar and dinning room are a credit to hotel also Young girl we got at reception was excellent we were offered upgraded room after telling her about bad experience at last hotel facilities excellent as is the cleanliness will definitely be coming back and would highly recommended to anyone considering booking thank you for a brilliant time

Excellent value for money. Slightly old fashioned. Lovely attentive staff. Clean. Ample parking. Didn’t use leisure facilities so can’t comment on them. Good breakfast and nice choices on dinner menu.

The hotel was excellent. The staff were ALL very helpful and dealt with every request quickly and efficiently. We have stayed before and will again. Never disappointed. Well done and keep it up Craigmonie.

We had 2 lovely superior rooms but a pity we had to go outside to get to them as we were in annex. We asked if there were superior rooms in hotel and they said yes but we didn’t know that when we booked them with you

Lovely friendly hotel in a great location”

I really loved this hotel - it was so friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Comfortable bed in large room (I was upgraded from a single room to a double at no extra charge) and great shower. The food was also very good including a excellent buffet breakfast.

the hotel was great, the only down side is when you get a maisonnette with the swiming pool window sealed, what would have been an advantage turn into a disadvantage, you get only the noise but not the access to the pool area.

Spent two nights at the Craigmonie Hotel and the staff were very friendly and food was good. Would recommend this hotel.

Very friendly helpful staff, ideal quiet location, short (15 mins) walk back into town. Good bar, good food, plenty parking. Bit to warm, had to leave a window open in he room, but slept just dandy. Bathroom a bit dated, I'd get rid if the baths tbh. Overall, absolutely no hesitation in returning

Disapointing room”

Old property with charm. Friendly staff at reception and at the bar. Room was disapointing, bed average, and it was next to the exhaust outlet from the kitchen thus the room stank of cooking smells even with the window closed - did not sleep well. Bathroom had loose tiles and grout that stuck into my foot causing pain. Shower was awful with low pressure and water not hot enough. Breakfast was excellent though with full Scottish breakfast that sets the benchmark - excellent service as well i.e. delivering coffee and toast to the table. All in all, i paid a high room price expecting more and was very disapointed with the room. Location is a long way from the centre to walk so using car is essential. Breakfast was this place's saving grace.
