Excellent location for shopping, food & entertainment ”

Very convenient location, with high street shops on the doorstep, as well as restaurants, cinemas, clubs & theatres. We stayed in a King size room which was spacious and clean. Supply of toiletries was generous and we enjoyed having a bath as well as shower in the bathroom. Our booking didn’t include breakfast but to be honest, when we looked in, it didn’t look too special in any case. Good thing is that there are so many delicious breakfast and brunch options in nearby cafes. One niggle was the nightly parking charge of £8.50. I don’t remember seeing this mentioned in the listing on Agoda. I do object to paying extra for parking on top of the booking charge.

Best UK city hotel stayed so far”

The room was spacious for a family of 4. Beds were most comfortable and clean. There is carpark within the hotel building and we could easily access the hotel room directly from there. Great breakfast spread. Definitely recommend.

Great location but was disappointed as the hotel has lost all the wee personal touches since the take over and renovation ( bottled water,biscuits ) The good points is location and car park.

Weekend visit”

We used the hotel mainly to sleep while we visited our daughter in Glasgow. To be honest we did not have time to use the polo or gym on the visit. The room was a good size , well decorated with modern furniture and bathroom. The bed and bedding very comfortable too, the only downside was a noisy resident returning from a very late night. We will use this hotel again.

As much as i have travelled some cities in UK, this hotel was one of the best, nice big rooms, very2 friendly and helpfull staffs, cleaning service were doing their job greatly, breakfast was nice, location also just nice, walking distance to shopping and food also laundry, only need more staff at the reception or room service since it took them ages to pick up my calls from the room. Have direct access building car parking too.

Central Location and Good Experience all round”

Fantastic location, very central. Not luxury but excellent value for money in terms of room size, decor, cleanliness and facilities. Lobby and bar area a plus. Breakfast was great, other meals less so, but as you are in the centre no shortage of other restaurants to walk to etc.

Overall it's a great hotel! It's located at a very good location, pubs, restaurants, shopping, etc are just around the corner. The hotel and room is very clean, green-environment friendly and big. The hotel has good gym room and swimming pools and car park with special parking rate for hotel guests.

very nice stay”

Will definitely stay here again next time! Their service is very good, room also very nice and big, and they have play room for kids. We stayed here 3 adults and one 2 year old, booked the standard twin room, need to pay extra only 15pounds for 1 adult breakfast and they upgrade our room! what a service!

Customer Service very poor from reception staff ”

Poor customer service. 50 mins delay on drinks, food coming to room and no apology for this. Reception staff not friendly. Very disappointed after staying in Hilton a lot

We booked 5 rooms but they just gave us 3 rooms. Hotel was overbooked and they offer to transfer nearby hotel.

Great stay”

As I was organising an event in said hotel, I decided to stay overnight to avoid an early start next day. I was extremely pleased with the clean, comfortable, spacious and pleasantly-decorated room and with the range of breakfast choices. I was also lucky in that I did not hear a sound, despite the hotel being busy.

Mini holiday”

Sumptuous bed , lovely big room , power shower , pool and gym . Everything you could want , we were lucky with the price this time . Only downside when we looked at another weekend in the near future the room was DOUBLE the price 😳 still we would give our stay 10/10.
