Disgusting bait and switch after booking ”
Went online looked at photos of the hotel and the rooms. Called to verify I was booking directly with the hotel and they said yes. I booked a room with a balcony two queen beds look at the photos everything looked beautiful it showed an indoor pool that goes out to the outdoor pool beautiful lights in a lobby waterfall everything looked phenomenal. I was excited to book the hotel showed my husband both of us are like perfect Gatlinburg hotel not too far to walk into town we booked two nights. We pulled up to the hotel and said he looks fine we were told to check him down the street. We drove down the street to the address of 515 historic Trail the office was run down dirty a mess the people working front desk Look like they had no idea what they were doing. Parking lot was disgusting it looked like an old rundown hotel that you would find out in the middle of nowhere. They said OK we got your room and I said weird he said right over here and I was like no we’re supposed to be at the resort down the street and they said nope we’re putting you here and I said no I paid for down the street at the resort with the indoor pool and the beautiful lobby and everything and he said no we’re putting you here he put me in a room where it look like it had not been cleaned in years the carpet was filthy and disgusting full of stains the coverlet on the bed had stains the towel in the bathroom had make up and chunk on it. The stairs were covered in spiderwebs dirt filth the slider knob was broken and falling off and the balcony was disgusting and the railing wasn’t even painted. There were a huge hornets nest and bees flying everywhere the pool where they booked us in was covered full of mold dirt leaves unpainted it look like it was from a horror movie. But and to top it off we were terrified of bedbugs the bathroom was gross tails were broken it was disgusting. It smelled musty and old and gross they would not give us a refund they would not move us unless we paid another $400.

The room was supposed to be twin beds. Not. No staff to be seen Bed spead was dirty Elevator was broken and wasn't fixed when we left
