Had such a beautiful stay , the hotel was a beautiful hotel , such an amazing view , the staff was so kind and welcoming , will 100% be staying again it was over all a 10|10 stay!!!

Josh on reception was so efficient and helpful, staff so friendly nothing is a problem. A lovely experience.

Tired room”

You could see it was a great hotel in its day but it is starting to look tired which is a shame. You do not get any toiletries so take your own or you will only have a little bar of soap. Its not a 4 star more 3 star staff lovely for what we paid for the room cannot complain we would go again

Poor for money paid”

Was put in a twin room when booked a double complained got a double to walk in room wall paper coming off walls damp in bathroom and enamel coming of bath dips in mattress not very clean and to be woke up at 6 in morning with staff having a discussion with other members of public about how disappointed in hotel shouting in halls rubbish outside hotel needed picking up just was not worth 85pound for a night would not stay again very disappointed to say least when it was for my partners birthday as well what a let down

Value For Money”

A pleasant stay. The room was a good size, warm and had a large comfortable bed. The hotel was quiet and I had no issues with noise from either the nearby road or other guests. The hotel's location is slightly further down the coast away from the main town centre, so if the weather isn't too good it's possible you'll get a bit damp should you decide to walk anywhere. However, I enjoyed my stay and felt it was good value for money. I have stayed at this hotel before and would do so again.

Large bed and good leisure facility”

Quick check in, large comfortable bed and room. Bathroom a bit tired in places but clean. Gym and and pool good.

Good hotel”

Only stayed two nights while visiting friends. No meal plan so can’t review food. Didn’t use any hotel facilities such as pool. Room was clean, nice sea view. Staff l came into contact with all friendly and welcoming. All in all, pleasant stay. I’d recommend The Grand Hotel To anyone planning to stay in Blackpool.

A disgusting dirty place that should in no way claim to have any stars! We were shown a filthy room, after complaining to the manager who was most unhelpful, we left! Vile place, don’t waste your money

Nice sea view from the room”

It is good value for money and sea view from the rooms is a plus. Not too far from the happening side of Blackpool, the hotel itself is in a quiet area. Parking is easily available outside the hotel car park. Cannot remember but may have to pay for it. Please check with the hotel directly.

Payed £14.50 for breakfast very disappointed no eggs no black pudding no beans no scrammbled eggs had to wait for the chef to bring out the food working by himself to cook and provide breakfast had to wait aswell for white bread for at least 10 minutes staff did seem to enjoy there jobs but would like to congratulat chef for his efforts left a charger in room sent email to ask if they could send it back to me but no reply

Housekeeping was lacking tray left in our room for two days, our bed was meant to be made from singles to king-size this wasn't done after repeatedly asking. One of our covers were off it was left on the floor and cleaning spray was left in our room. Everything was reported We have stayed at this hotel before and had no problems it's in a good location with good facilities Hopefully issues will be sorted .

Would definitely stay again - good value but a bit irritating to be charged extra for parking/towel etc. Could have done with more staff on reception. Minor complaints and overall a good hotel.

Great last minute deal”

Booked on route and got a great deal for 1 night stay. Managed to park in side street overnight but hotel does have its own on site chargeable parking. Room was a good size though a little dated. The bed was a little creaky and the picture quality of TV was poor for a 4 star rated hotel. But I paid a similar night rate to that of local B&B’s so was great value and quality for price paid. My one main criticism would be the banging of room doors. Very loud and all through the night. Most hotels now have smooth close entrance doors. But as stated, for the rate I paid, it was great value.

Tatty and understaffed”

Gave us the wrong type of room . When I went to reception to get it changed, the receptionist said it was my fault. When I showed her my booking which clearly proves it wasn't she just shrugged. Poor attitude. Room we got was dirty. Couldn't see out of the window it was so dirty . When we got back to the room at 3pm on our first day, it still hasn't been made up . Quality of food at breakfast was poor and choice was very limited . Tea and coffee was cold

On arrival our room was smelly and stale. The double bed was hard, uncomfortable, and creaky, consisting of a mattress (one layer) with board underneath. The bedroom window was plugged up with 9 unsightly sponges and 2 towels! The lifts failed to work on several occasions. On Saturday evening I and my 3 guests attended the carvery for dinner. The meal was overcooked, no choice, stale, somewhat cold, and the service at table was unsatisfactory in several ways: altogether, a complete waste of money. Following that meal I was ill in bed all next day! Will I stay or eat at this hotel again? No. The fact that this hotel calls itself 'Grand' is undeserved, is not justified, it's overpriced, and I recommend the place to no one at all.
