My Favorite ”

This was probably my favorite place to stay on our 2 week trip to the U.K. The staff was amazing and the breakfast was delicious! Our room was adorable! The front desk was very helpful for recommendations and questions. They even packed a lunch for us when we wouldn't be there for breakfast one day. The location is perfect - within walking distance, but on a quiet street.

Brilliant”

A brilliant BN B in a fantastic location with staff genuinly concerned with your comfort and needs. Or small double was cosy and perfect in every way and breakfast each morning was a highlight. Wouldnt stay anywhere else.

This is a great hotel in Bath. The service is outstanding. They sent us welcome email, there's a welcome drinks, breakfast is very nice home cook and unlimited! The room is so lovely with full amenity. Staffs are excellent, gave us advise and very welcoming. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Bath, this is the one.

Perfect little hotel for a business trip. Extremely helpful staff and high quality accommodation, with a great location (not in a noisy part of town but still centrally located) to boot. Made for a great business trip as the hotel was the last thing I had to worry about!

Best receptionist ever (the one in the evening)”

We arrived in the evening and the receptionist at the front desk was really nice. Not only did he recommend all the sightseeing spot at Bath, but he also briefly introduced the building of Henrietta house to us. The next day after we checked out and went back to the hotel to reclaim our luggage in the evening, we ran into the same receptionist and he offer to help us take the luggage to the street. Such a nice guy! The breakfast was really delicious and the staffs there were also helpful. Next time I visit Bath, I definitely will stay at Henrietta house!

Amazing location close enough to stroll into the city centre, but not too close to be noisy. The most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept in. Somehow manages to combine period features with luxury feel - old doesn’t equal shabby here. Epic breakfast. Staff that actively look for ways to make your stay effortlessly comfortable. Flippin’ awesome.

2 nights break in Bath”

Staff were very helpful especially illy. They did not have a chair in the wet room, which I do think is a little stupid as mainly people in wheelchair who cannot stand would use the room. cannot think why they have not had this problem before. They did try and find something and all they could come up with a 2 step thing which they padded out with towels which we did manage to use quickly but anyone with more disability than me would not be able to. They ought to invest in a free standing shower chair which is not expensive on the internet. They did have a ramp into B&B but it is quite steep but they would help you. The room was really nice and comfy beds. The breakfast was excellent and about a 5 - 10 minute walk into centre of town

From the time we booked (6 months prior) to the end of our stay, Henrietta House surpasses every other places we stayed at in the last few years. They communicated within a week of our booking asking if we wanted two twins or shared queen bed, taxi arranged or directions ( with links) to public transport from airport..... We felt comforted that we’ll be in good hands on arrival to England, jet lagged or not. All the reception staff, the breakfast waitstaff etc... were genuinely helpful and friendly... we did not want to leave! They made our Bath experience a memorable one.

We stayed at Henrietta House for two nights in early July. We were in room 11, a large airy room with extremely high ceilings and large windows on the back side of the hotel. Our children were in a similar room just above us. The only major difference in the two rooms was the height of the ceiling. Both were perfect for our needs. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and the extra touches of fresh fruit and spring water were appreciated. The included breakfasts were delicious. I had the eggs Benedict one morning and the Welsh rarebit the next and thought they were both excellent. The desk staff was extremely helpful during our stay, with restaurant suggestions, directions and other helpful recommendations. The location, just to the east of the Avon river, over the Pulteney Bridge, was perfect. It was just a short, pleasant walk to the bridge, river walk, Roman Baths and Bath Abbey. I would absolutely stay at Henrietta House again.

The nicest hotel I have ever stayed in”

A beautiful hotel in the heart of Bath. Very easy walk into the centre, in a beautiful Georgean building on a lovely street. The room was beautiful, the breakfast was delicious and plentiful and the staff were attentive and friendly. Illy in particular went above and beyond in welcoming us and making our stay so pleasant. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He recommended places to visit and eat in Bath and kindly allowed us to use our parking permit for as long as we needed The hotel feels luxurious without being at all snobby or formal. I cannot recommend it enough and would love to stay here again. The only negative was that we visited during a heatwave, the hotel provided a fan but, as it was noisy, we slept with the windows open. Although the street was quiet, the seagulls made a racket all night and disturbed our sleep. This is not the hotel’s fault as they can’t install aircon in a listed building (and it’s rarely that hot) but it’s something worth considering in the summer.

One of the best BnBs we've been to”

This place is fantastic. The space is elegantly decorated. The beds are very comfortable. The staff is super courteous and helpful. And the breakfast is just amazing. I was shocked by the quality of the breakfast food and by the sheer number of options. This was the best place we stayed in the U.K. This place is a gem.

Good Location”

Bath is a very walkable city and Henrietta House is only a few minutes walk from the center. The rooms are large. Breakfast is very good with many cooked choices. Staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Really good place to stay in Bath”

Everything was perfect, the room was really clean. They welcomed us with handmade biscuits and fresh fruits. They provide water and coffee/teas (more then one sort of tea). Breakfast? First of all included in the price and there's a large buffet but also a menù where you can choose many interesting plates (and eat as much as you want without any extra money to be paid). They offers also a discount card for the main attraction in the city :) The location is perfect, 5 minutes walk from the centre of Bath! When next time we will come to the Bath, definetily will choose Henrietta House!!!

Elegant shabby-chic stay in a great central location.”

My room was perfect for a solo traveller, but may have been a little cramped for a couple. Bathroom was fantastic, facecloths available were a lovely touch, as was the biscuits made in the hotel to go with the tea/coffee making facility. The art in my room was lovely, and a lot of the pieces no-show around the hotel are for sale. Breakfast was definitely a highlight, I'd recommend taking some time to enjoy that in the morning. Checking in about was fine, and a helpful map was provided to help me find my way to the off-street parking (next to the frontage of the MOT centre). Parking was fairly tight/pricey, but I think that is more of a comment on Bath, not the hotel.

The best place to stay in bath ”

From the moment we were welcomed we were made to feel like valued guests. The staff friendliness and recommendations were second to none. The house and room is very well appointed. The location was ideal for exploring the center of bath. The breakfast was one of the best we have ever had! Thank you for the hospitality.

Old world charm mix with modern comfort ”

The hotel is a nice walk from the train station and to the center of shops. I slept well. I like the fact I could crack the window for fresh air. The breakfast was must better than anything I had in a hotel chain. I plan to stay again and have wrote my daughter, who is coming later, to stay here.

Excellent small hotel ”

Very central for visiting beautiful Bath. A lovely Georgian small hotel, well run with excellent service. Really great fresh breakfast and such friendly helpful staff- a pleasure, we will definitely return .

A relaxing week-end @Henrietta House in Bath”

Very good location within walking distance to all Bath must see places and delicious local restaurants. The staff at Henrietta house are very friendly, so you feel at home immediately soon after arrival. The rooms are set-up very nicely and the cooked breakfast is excellent. Will definitely recommend to friends visiting Bath and will return on my next visit to Bath.
